Nyx began to see signs of her brother spread throughout the lands. She heard whispers from
others about a dragon with the ability to control darkness and how he was spreading his
teachings across Eilian. Sadness filled her heart as she heard through others mouths her own
siblings thoughts about the world and how someone should step up and take control of Eilian
and all the groups in it; How someone should put furred creatures in their places. Other
reptiles began to feel the same way, some only siding with him for protection, and soon a
divide between the furred creatures of Eilian and the reptiles began to form. While not
every reptile believed in Erebos' words, they began to be categorized with those who did.
Erebos began a cult-like group of reptiles from all around Eilian who wanted to see a Leader
rise to the top of Eilian and take the reins of life into his own claws. He began to call
this group Abiteth, the Devourer. The Abiteth began to sweep Eilian and Erebos started to
show he had different ways other then magical to control the flow of darkness. Nyx continued
to hear the stories of Erebos' raiding parties that would seep into a clans lands and
destroy them mercilessly. Many couldn't defend themselves because Evil and Death were not
familiar to them, they'd only heard legend of dark hearted evil; they didn't know how.
The Abiteth rarely ever took prisoners, and if they did Erebos usually dispatched of them
within due time. Erebos began to call himself Emperor Erebos, the god of Eilian. Nyx could
only stare on as her only sibling assumed a false command over the Eilian lands, casting a
dark shadow over their heads and putting Eilian into an age of darkness, horror, and fear.
Their once land of harmony was now a land of terror and tyranny.
This continued for many many years, until finally, Nyx was tired of the darkness and wanted
the light to shine through. Her murdered mothers words stung in her heart like fire and Nyx
set out to go to each group to seek help in stopping her brother; help from the very furred
creatures he loathed.
