I found on the net on a news site about what my brother did. They fail to mention he is a paranoid schitzophrenic and Ironically the people that diagnosed him as such and he had been on medication for nine years for schitzophrenia been held in Marlborough house for months the top secure unit at the back of the hospital and they found him to be of sound mind to stand trial I just cannot work that one out at all! any ideas? If it was an ordinary member of the public it wouldn't be going to crown court because they wouldn't be arsed to bother and my brother will not ever acknowledge his illness ,whole thing is a mess but he has been in and out of mental hospitals for nine years after being on put mental acts one after the other yet when they attack a doctor all of a sudden he is found fit. It is more then likely that he saw her as the devil initially as he always sees devils and demons coming up through the floor and they are constantly mentioned and he says they are trying to get him one year he believed he was Jesus Christ.
Please don't get me wrong that poor doctor I cannot imagine her fear and the fact she may loose her eye is absolutely fucking tragic . He must have realised after the commotion what was happening he went to London and told a policeman what he thought he may have done and the police man checked it out for him. The system doesn't have any kind of hostel type housing for paranoid schitzophrenics to live in , time and time again it is proved they cannot and do not survive well in the community, and the community and families unfortunately pay the price he had gone in the hospital to listen to some music allegedly.
I havn't heard anything to be honest since the police were at my house and I was telling an on duty social worker of his history , Where are their damn files I have spoken to so many social workers dealing with him in the past they have his history surely? I have had nine long years of it I and when the person who used to be your dear little brother is alien to you it is very hard especially when they are so unpredictable. Here is the news.

Doctor may lose her eye

A WOMAN consultant may have lost an eye in an attack in the middle of a busy out-patients clinic at Milton Keynes Hospital.

Horrified patients watched helplessly as Mrs Joan Haynes was allegedly assaulted by a man, believed to be an out-patient from the adjoining Campbell Centre psychiatric unit.
Colleagues and members of the public rushed to her aid and she was taken directly to the hospital's Accident and Emergency Department for treatment to a serious head wound.
Minutes later A&E colleagues made the decision to transfer her for specialist care to Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Aylesbury.
But it is too early to say whether she will ever regain sight in that eye.
Mrs Haynes, a specialist in genito-urinary medicine, is believed to be back at home recuperating after the alleged attack, under the care of her obstetrician husband Peter, who also works at the hospital.
A Milton Keynes Hospital spokesman said: "I can confirm there was a serious assault on a member of staff.
"On Wednesday a female member of staff was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital. We are investigating."
The incident has raised questions from other staff over the hospital's security measures.
One hospital volunteer told the Citizen: "Security is absolutely diabolical. There are always lots of people sitting around in the entrance or milling around on the steps.
"I wonder if anyone ever asks them who they are?"
But a hospital spokesman added: "We have security people on the site, we have CCTV.
"But thousands of people come through the hospital every day, it is a public place.
"It's very difficult to guard against an unprovoked attack in a public area."

A man has been charged in connection with the assault and been
remanded in custody to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court.
