TRIVIA BUFFS:

I am sick to death with people who think they are top of the class because they know a lot of trivia. Somebody needs to tell these people to take their head out of their arses, that it merely shows one skill and usually the only skill these people possess. A lot of these people couldn't drive a car can't sing in tune can't add up and usually live on the dole for a long time because they need to catch up on their trivia or because there isn't a job out there that is GOOD ENOUGH for them or because really the reality is they are not actually intelligent . If you an all rounder at everything it show's far more intellect then someone who can only remember trivia.

For example somebody that can remember a hell of a lot of song lyrics to hundreds of songs is no different to the person that has remembered the trivia it is merely a different topic. It has been drummed in because if the quiz was just on song lyrics doe's the person have the right to say " Well that isn't my specialist subject if they were beaten"?.
The people that usually participate in this kind of activity on a regular basis have very normal and ordinary jobs, so why is that? if they have one at all, they consider theirselves to have a high IQ heeh REALITY CHECK , an IQ test does not exist only of trivia questions far from it you cannot consider yourself to have a high IQ that is why you are tested. So don't ever feel intimidated by trivia nuts. I have learnt lots of useless information in the past two years using internet quizzes but would never intimidate someone it matters not when you learnt it , you are no less intelligent then someone who knew that fact two years before you. I bet I could beat them in a game of chess, because they probably never learnt to play it or set the board up with all the useless information they were collecting.

If you do know a question those type of people say" How did you know that" well hey I went to bloody school till I was 17 I didn't walk around with my eyes shut . Maybe they did and learnt their trivia at home on weekends. Checkmate.
