TEACHERS REUNITED:

I wrote an email to my old school teacher to see if it was her and she asked me to tell me all about me and when I read it back it sounded such a sad and personal old email but I sent it anyway, no airs n graces just me being me.

BELOW IS WHAT I WROTE

I don't know where to start really. Your the first teacher I have seen join any list , I know that is because you were so good and always happy and all you St Lukes teachers had a great sense of humour! I doubt any kid left your class with anything negative about you, but instead nothing but nice memories . My brother John used to kiss you goodbye after his class whenever possible and you were my favourite teacher of all time too. There was a message board with lots of messages about our old teachers and nice words of thanks etc but because there were many abuse messages on other school boards about past teachers the whole lot on the friends reunited site got wiped and they started them all afresh.

Ok well I am now 34 I am married to Peter an ex public school boy backgrounds are chalk and cheese, I have five children the youngest is only three and half months, and the eldest is nearly 15 in September. I expect after working it out you must be retired or almost retired now, probably living in the south of France skiing every day well If you are hope your enjoying it!What Part are you in and why France? Must beat Kent anyway! See I have a damn good memory (I think).

I've only ever really been in the caring sector nothing glamourous despite always wanting to be a chiropodist or a teacher , (which you told my mum at parents evening I was capable of ) residential homes, brain rehabilitation and hospices.Unfortunately but fortunately(work that one out) my mum left my father who for all our lives was a very nasty piece of work just after my secondary school mock exams and we left London to flee to Milton Keynes. The school exam syllabus etc was all different and no plans were made to perhaps keep me with family at such an important time for exams so motherhood has become my main career really, and I wouldn't have it any other way and came out with 2 O levels and a btec diploma in prevocational education.

So I have been in Milton Keynes now for 18 odd years . My Mother died of breast cancer at 43 after a brave five year battle. My dearest little brother John is no longer the person he once was lovable extremley good looking and sensitive he is now a diagnosed Paranoid schitzophrenic and quite often resembles a scruffy Jesus. In fact he has made front page news today in Milton Keynes although it doesn't actually say his name I know it's him for assaulting a lady doctor in hospital and she may have lost sight in one of her eyes.It is awful.So to me really for 9 years now I have a person in my family that I can no longer relate to most of the time. We have done and tried to do so much for him over the years but with five children and one of them disabled (from a stroke aged 2) the time and hitting too many brick walls in the system the energy faded over the years and led to complete worry frustration, most of the time anyway.

Oh what a downer of an email so far! I am always really happy and jolly but I never come across in emails that way .I have had some contact with a few from our old class in St Lukes a few good conversations with David Reeves over the last year although not lately as I have a new baby and a bit of a giggle over the microsoft messenger network and we share the same sense of humour and we figured that it must have come from St Lukes and Camden teachers combined humour! I went to lunch with Ian Rice but he was a few years above and he didn't have you as a class teacher so you may not remember him but was Christine Rice's brother.

Did you ever have any contact with Mr Mcdonald or Mr V after leaving St Lukes and going to work in Glouester Grove?
How is James, youngest of the boys wasn't he? Do you still threaten to pull off his duvet if he doesn't get up when he stays with you? There is a picture of you on David Reeves notes have you seen it yet? What do you do with yourself now.
I have a quote from one of my secondary school reports "French is not Connie's strong point". Did you know that Mr Mohan was a bit of a pervert? hehe, true!
