VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers are an integral part of the Soaring Eagle Center programs and thrift shop. We love our volunteers and are so appreciative of their contributions. There are many opportunities for volunteering. We need volunteers in the thrift shop, associate day program, Special Olympics, social events, on committees, and for fund raising.
Here is a list of our current needs:
1. Work in the thrift shop two hours a week
2. Help with donation pick ups on an as needed basis
3. Assist in the associates' classes two hours a week
4. Help organize a fund-raiser for February
5. Develop and implement a marketing plan
6. Assist with Special Olympics basketball beginning in November
7. Be a special friend to one of our associates
8. Plan and organize social events for our young adults
9. Anything else you would like to do
Volunteers must be at least eighteen years old, fill out an application, and undergo a background check. We are unable to accommodate requests for community service needed for disciplinary or legal reasons.
