WEEK ONE

DAY ONE: - FRIDAY

The contestants all enter the house in one big pack, but they are not allowed to talk to each other until they get in the house. When they are all in, the door closes and the disembodied voice of Smallest Brother tells them it won't be opened again until the first eviction in two weeks time. Now it's real.
Amid all the handshaking and hugging, they look around at the house that is their home for up to thirteen weeks, and the thirteen other people with whom they are going to have to live. Luckily, for some people, they know some of the people who are standing before them. Lucy and Martin know each other from acting on the same set, and Brad and Jennifer are married. They all sit in the lounge and chat. Smallest Brother calls Brad into the diary room to collect notes on living in the house. he takes them and reads them out to the assembled contestants. They have a �90 supply of food in the store room for this week but afterwards they will have to bet it in challenges. The contestants sit and chat to each other about what they do, etc. And Angelina and Jennifer get up and start unpacking the �90 of food out of the store room into the cupboards in the kitchen. After that is done, people go into the two bedrooms to see which they want as the girls, and which they want as the boys. Bedroom one is closely examined and the boys say they will have it, even theough the other one has trendy en-suite facilities. They say the facilities mean more to girls than boys, and none of them want to sleep on the floor.
The girls seem o.k with that, so unpacking commences.
It's now 12:23 p.m. Jennifer cooks lunch, and the girls draw lots (With a pack of spaghetti) who gets the sleeping bag. Lucy does, but says she doesn't mind. Meanwhile a similar thing happens in the boys room, as to whom gets the water bed. It's Pierce, but Shaggy says that Pierce should swap with someone every week because it is not fair on them. Although Pierce looks annoyed, he says yes, mainly to keep on good terms. After lunch, the contestants decide to venture outside. Madonna and Gillian notice the puppies so run over to the kennal to name them. The others walk around the garden and examine it. (Alan looks at the flower bed the most.) A door is locked at the other end of the garden leading underground (The quiet cave) So the contestants sit in the deckchairs provided and gaze around at the tennis court and all the amazing things.
Madonna and Gillian return from the kennels to announce the puppies names (Guy and Mulder.) And the others decide that the four chickens should be named after names in their lives, too. It's decided the chickens will be Victoria, Lara, Cherie, and when it comes to the other name, the contestants decide to call the final chicken Abby, after the Smallest Brother presenter.
In the afternoon the contestants sunbathe in the garden, while in the kitchen, a serious flirtation is beginning to develop between Britney and Brad. He winds her up by calling her a name, and she playfully flicks him with a dishcloth. Thankfully Jennifer is with the others in the garden.
It begins to grow dark, so the contestants decide to go to sleep early (Even though Angelina says it is impossible with everyone watching you.) So, after some chatting, at 9:34 p.m, everyone is in bed, but Brad has put a bag of frozen peas in Britney's bed, so when she gets into bed, she screams out loud. The boys rush into the girl's room, and Brad admits he did it as a "Joke." Britney laughs along at how stupid she was. Jennifer is already asleep.

DAY TWO: - SATURDAY

Gillian is up early : - At 6:15, and goes out in her pajamas to talk to the chickens and collect some eggs they have laid.
When everyone is up, although it's only the second day, thoughts of home start to creep in. Madonna admits to Ann that she is missing her husband and two children. Britney comes into the diary room to say hello to her boyfriend, but says she's getting on fine, and then starts to have the first bitching session of the show, about Jennifer.
"Jenny (Jennifer's nickname in the house) Miss bossy, just keeps staring at me, Brads being very supportive in here. Alan and Tony and the other girls seem nice enough. It's really just Jennifer. I've just got a few little fears, that's all." Smallest Brother gives Brad the details about the housemates first task, and he reads it out in the living room. They must prepaire a main course meal, of three star hotel quality (Inividually.) They are allowed to order the meal ingrediants one day in advance, and they have a cookbook provided to help them. They will have to cook their masterpieces on Tuesday. Shaggy moans he never cooks. Angelina and jennifer seem fairly optomistic. The team are allowed to bet as much as they want of their food budget on successful completion of the task: - That's 90 pounds. They decide to bet ten percent, because there are grumbles from the male population of the household. This means they will have �80 to spend even if they fail. After a late lunch, the contestants crowd round the recipie book to see what they want to cook. When they have all decided, jennifer enters the diary room.
"Britney thinks she rules the world, I'm a bit disconcerted about this. People say that myself and Angelina take up too much time in the kitchen, but, hey, I'm a domestic godess, I can't help that."
"Anyway, Britney is going to get an official warning, if she doesn't lay off my husband. How dare she mess with peoples minds in here!"
Jennifer leaves the diary room, and sits as far away from Britney as she can (Who is sitting next to Brad.) She sits next to Pierce, who puts his arm around her. She has the look on her face like: "If you can do it, so can I."

PSYCOLOGIST'S REPORT: - BRITNEY AND BRAD

Resident Psycologist, Doctor Peter Bradley, explains his views on Britney and Brad's relationship to each other in the house.

"IT'S INTERESTING TO SEE THAT BRITNEY HAS ALLIED HERSELF STRAIGHT AWAY WITH THE MOST DOMINENT MALE IN THE HOUSE, BRAD. THIS MAY BE BECAUSE OF BRAD'S IRRESISTABLE CHARMS, BUT IT MAY BE A WAY OF BRITNEY ENSURING THAT SHE SURVIVES WITHIN THE HOUSE. HER INTERACTION WITH BRAD'S OTHER HALF, JENNIFER, IS ALSO OF GREAT INTEREST. SHE HAS EVEN DARED TO FLIRT WITH BRAD RIGHT IN FRONT OF JENNIFER'S EYES. IT IS ALSO OF INTEREST TO SEE THAT BRAD HAS FAILED TO NOTICE PIERCE'S FREQUENT COMFORTING AND FLIRTING INTERACTIONS WITH JENNIFER. WE CAN PROBABLY SEE A FEW RELATIONSHIPS DEVELOP WITHIN THE HOUSE."

DR. PETER BRADLEY, EXPERIMENTAL PSYCOLOGIST.

It's 4:00p.m, and jennifer goes into the quiet cave (Which has now been unlocked) to read. She locks the door. Pierce and Ann have a tennis game where Pierce smashes Ann out of the court, and the others sit at the outside table while Angelina and David make dinner. (Curry.) Madonna and Gillian are still fussing about the puppies, and Shaggy is talking about his singing career with Lucy. Alan gets up and goes to tend to the flowers.
At 6:00p.m the contestants eat dinner (All except Jennifer, who says she is not hungry.) The housemates draw up a mental rota about cleaning out the chickens. They decide it has to be done every two days, and that they will go in alphabetical order, therefore, Alan will start cleanining out the chickens tomorrow. A weekly dog rota is also drawn up.
After dinner the team play in the tennis courts, and madonna plays the guitar. Martin goes to bed early complaining of a headache. Jennifer and Brad seem to have made up, and Britney is in the kitchen, helping Tony wash up.

DAY THREE: - SUNDAY

This morning, Smallest Brother sets the team a mini-task. They have to take photos of each other for a calender, letting them know the date. Pierce is appointed head camerman, and the rest of the morning is spent taking pictures. Angelina does a Charlie's Angels style pose. Tony pretends to steal a chicken. Alan is pictured among the flowers, Madonna has her photo taken by the puppies, and Jennifer is snapped reading a magazine in the quiet cave. Pierce chooses to take his on the tennis court, hitting a ball, and Shaggy is pictured holding Madonna's guitar. Britney does the splits on a mat. Brad is photographed asleep in bed (He is still not up so Pierce takes this.) Lucy is photographed by the stream by the lawn, running her hands through the water and looking pensieve. Martin is buried in rocks in the rockery, so only his face and hands are uncovered, and then is snapped. David gets a photo holding a football. Ann gets dressed into one of her weakest link costumes, puts on her glasses and glares over the top of them at the camera. Finally, Gillian is by far the most adventurous of the housemates, getting changed into her swim costume and plunging into the pond, treading water and grinning at the camera as the photo is taken. She later admits the water was freezing, and she is going back to bed.
Pierce hands in the photos, and Smallest Brother says he will give them the calandar tomorrow. As a treat, they each get a bar of chocolate to eat tonight (Chocolate does not appear on the Smallest brother shopping lists.) After lunch, angelina bitches to Pierce in bedroom 1 about Gillian. She says she is "Way too lazy," and has never volanteired to do any of the cooking and washing. She then goes to the diary room to say she is annoyed she cannot talk about nominations. Tony questions Britney about the first thing she will do when she leaves the Smallest brother house. She says she has not decided yet. Brad finally gets up and Jennifer cooks him a snack. Some amazing flirtation materialises between Britney and Martin. She lays down on the lawn next to him, and they start winding each other up. Angelina and Pierce watch them, and Angelina brands Britney "A backstabbing so-and-so, but in a funny way" Gillian helps Angelina cook some dinner tonight (much to Angelina's suprise.) And even though Madonna complains the peas are like bullets and the gravy is too thick, everyone eats it all. Then there is a comfrontation between Ann and Angelina, about the kitchen. Ann says Angelina has cooked almost every meal so far, and Ann trys to stop her doing the washing up. She says she wants to..
"I'll feel a lot better if you didn't" says Ann. "Give yourself a little rest" Reluctantly, Angelina leaves the kitchen and goes to read in the quiet cave while Ann washes up.
That evening, there is relaxing music played in the en-suite and an hour of hot water. All the girls manage to have a quick dip before bed.
The highlight of the day arrives just before bed. Jennifer cannot find her lipstick and accuses Britney of taking it. There is a huge comfrontation row between the two, which sends the boys dashing into the girl's room to see what the commotion is about. Britney collects some water in her hand from the indoor fountain and throws it over Jennifer's face. Then, tears flowing down hers, she runs out of the girls room and out into the dark night outside. Martin jokes she is going to kill herself, but Tony says it is no laughing matter. In the end, Alan goes to look for Britney. The first place he looks is the quiet cave. it is locked, so he has to shout through the door. Sure enough, Britney is in there, he askes her to open the door, and let him come in. When he does, she starts a huge bitching session about Jennifer, saying that she treats her like she does everything wrong. Pierce and Shaggy soon join her. Britney yells "I'm sick of her, Friday, hurry up and come. I hope the whole house votes to nominate her on Friday. Just leave. I wish she'd go. Alan and Brad talk to Britney quietly, and Pierce and Shaggy leave. She is embarrassed by the whole scene and says that, much as she enjoys the quiet cave, she doesnt want to sit in here moaning, whining, crying and shouting. Jennifer comes in, in an attempt to make amends, but Britney calmly and politely tells her that she does not want to talk about it until the morning. Jennifer presses it, but Alan tells her it is best to leave it until the morning. Jennifer leaves. Britney decides to sleep in the low bed in the quiet cave tonight. Lucy is all too happy, and gets Britney's bed for the night.

DAY FOUR: - MONDAY

Day four in the Smallest brother house, and there's already been a major row. Madonna is the first up, and is in the diary room, telling Smallest Brother she can see some major personality clashes in the household. When quizzed about Britney and Jennifer she says she thinks Jennifer was treating Britney unfairly, but she doesn't think they will make up. She says she is tempted to nominate both because she does not want a "House Of horrors." When everyone else is up (Apart from Britney.) The team have breakfast in the kitchen. Martin goes to the quiet cave with a mug of hot chocolate for Britney. She tells him she will come out at lunchtime, but is still shaken over the events last night. Martin gives her a hug, and she gratefully returns it, saying that there are so many "Brilliant, Supportive people in this house."

PSYCOLOGIST'S REPORT TWO: BRITNEY AND THE BOYS

BRITNEY, AS WE HAVE SEEN, IS A VERY KEY FIGURE IN THE HOUSE. WE CAN SEE THAT THE MALE POPULATION OF THE HOUSE FIND HER THE BEST OF THE GIRLS, AND THIS MAY BE BECAUSE OF HER LOOKS AND INNOCENCE. UNINTENTIONALLY, JENNIFER HAS PUT A LOT OF THE HOUSEHOLD AGAINST HER, BECAUSE WHOEVER BRITNEY LIKES, THE BOYS LIKE. WHATEVER BRITNEY HATES, THE BOYS HATE, AND THIS MAY SERIOUSLY ALTER NOMINATIONS. SO FAR WE HAVE SEEN SERIOUS FLIRTATION OCCUR BETWEEN BRITNEY AND BRAD, BRITNEY AND MARTIN, AND ALAN, TONY AND SHAGGY ALL SEEM TO BE CLAMOURING FOR HER ATTENTION. PIERCE SEEMS RATHER UNINTERESTED, AS DOES DAVID. WE CAN SEE THAT MUCH OF THE HOUSE IS NOW ON BRITNEY'S SIDE, AND JENNIFER HAD BETTER WATCH HER STEP.

DR PETER BRADLEY, EXPERIMENTAL PSYCOLOGIST

This morning, the food for the cookery task arrives in the store room. David helps Ann and Angelina carry it into the kitchen and store it away in the cupboards. In the lounge, jennifer tells Shaggy and Pierce, two people worried about the task, some cookery tips. Jennifer then goes to the bedroom to make her bed (Under Angelina's request) and finds Gillian doing the same thing. Jennifer starts talking to Gillian. She describes last night's events as "Stupid things, Silly little misunderstandings. She says she feels awful. "It hadn't suprised me that we had the row." she continues, "It was all simmering and bubbling away. I saw it coming. I want to apologise, I think." Jennifer goes to hunt out Britney in the quiet cave. She sits down, and they have a good long chat. Britney apologises for her outburst, and Jennifer apologises for losing her temper over stupid things. Both agree that they will make up and try to get along better, although, as Britney comes out of the cave and into the Diary Room she tells Smallest Brother she can't see herself "Not nominating Jennifer on Friday."
The calander arrives at lunchtime, and all the photos are brilliant. The housemates particulaly like Jennifers, Lucys, Davids, and Angelina's, but they say they are all good. They hang the calander next to the front door, and turn it to week one (ALAN) After a pasta lunch, by Jennifer and Gillian, (Gillian is cooking pasta for the cookery task and so is having a little practise) The team eat their chocolate, which they have forgotten to eat from the previous night (it's not too squishy) andShaggy starts talking to Ann about how interesting his career is. (Jennifer and Britney have fallen asleep.) Madonna asks Gillian waht the water was like in the pond, because she might go to try it out because it is so warm. Gillian strongly advisies against it, saying the water is way too cold to have a dip. Lucy is chatting to David, sitting by the little stream running down from the rockery to the pond. He reminds her that thy have not been inside the greenhouse yet. Lucy cannot believe they have not, and so they dissapear to look. Alan is once more among the flowers, and is joined by Tony and Ann, after Shaggy has finished talking. Brad and Gillian collect some eggs from the chickens, and (Even though he completely did not want to) Alan is dragged to clean them out. Madonna also helps him clean out the puppies. Lucy and David have found some seeds in the greenhouse, so they plant them and join the others, who are now all sunbathing. At around 5 o clock, David goes into the kitchen to cook dinner. Britney follows, and is very interested at how well David can cook. "I thought football players couldn't." she says blandly.However, she and the others have to admit the food is good when it comes to dinner. After dinner Jennifer retires into the bedroom to change. Piere does not know this, and walks into the bedroom and catches sight of Jennifer topless. He claims he didn't do it on purpose, but the rest of the house are formulating their own theory. Angelina says that now it will happen "All the time." Jennifer asks Pierce what he saw. he says "I saw you topless in the mirror." Jennifer is speechless. And Brad has a face like thunder. Britney sleeps in her own bed tonight, so it's the floor again for Lucy. Pierce and Angelina stay up late, drinking coffee (And in Angelina's case, smoking) in the kitchen. they chat about the people who make the house less boring, and, they agree that if Britney, Pierce and Ann left, it would be a little bit more boring.
