| WEEK 2: Nominations Revealed, Ann's "True Colours" Revealed, First "Serious" Romance! DAY NINE: - SATURDAY Day Nine in the Smallest Brother house. Yesterday, the team had to nominate the two people they most wanted to leave the house. Jennifer and Shaggy were targeted, but they won't know that until Monday. After the drama of nomination Night, the housemates are probably expecting a quiet time on Saturday, little do they know it's going to be one of the most exciting days they have experienced so far. The housemates rise late: - Ann and Gillian are the first up, and Ann pays a visit to the diary room while Gillian cooks Breakfast: - "It was very unplesant yesterday, but now I'm not going to hold back. You will see the Side of Ann Robinson you are most familiar with!" She is preceeded into the diary room by Gillian, who has an extraordinary tale to tell about how she "Would consider romance in the house if it was either Pierce or martin doing the flirting." When everyone is awake Britney announces that she is just waiting for her name to come up when they are told the nomination results. Martin says they really won't, and offers her a reassuring hug. Today is also the day when the weekly shopping arrives in the Store Room, so Angelina unpacks it. Brad goes to read in the diary room and Lucy goes to her favourite spot: the stream in the garden. Alan decides the flowers are looking unhealthy, so he goes into the flowerbeds to water them. Ann and Jennifer go into the girl's room to strip their beds, and Ann starts to bitch about Alan, saying he is only interested in flowers and is a "Total Jerk." Jennifer says that she thinks Alan really has a game plan, and is a "Control Freak" After a lunch cooked by Alan and David (Madonna is surprised at how well it has turned out) The team go into the tennis court to start a tournament. Gillian and Ann will not play, saying that the order that everyone is knocked out in the tournament will be the order people are evicted. then, after the first to rounds of the tournament are finished, something extraordinary happens. The housemates are all inside, chatting in the lounge, but Martin and Britney are outside. Unbenowngst to the rest of the housemates, the pair start kissing, sitting in the gondola. Ann walks into the house doorway, spots the couple, yells "Oh my God!" and rushes to tell the others. The diary room is an obvious sancturary, and Lucy makes a beeline for it. "I'd just like to say, ******g hell! What the heck is going on there? Martin and britney? I would have thought a snowman sunbathing on a beach was more likely!" She is closely preceeded into the room by Brad, who says he does not know what Britney is doing. The couple come soon inside, and no-one tells them about what they have seen and heared about. Ann later says to Madonna she can see the pair getting into a full blown relationship in this atmosphere. DAY TEN: - SUNDAY This morning, the next task is revealed. The team must make plaster casts of each other. The front of their body has to be moulded, and then painted brightly. The plaster must not crack, and the front of the body must line up and everything must be in place. The plaster casts must be finished and handed in by Thursday. The team are optomistic about this task, and bet a major 50% of their 80 shopping budget on successful completion of the task. This means they will have 120 if they succeed, but only 40 if they fail. Ann thinks it is a "Stupid task", and starts to yell at Smallest brother in the Diary room for giving them such rubbish tasks. The rest of the team seem cheerful though, so they crack on. Gillian is the first to be sculpted, and does her face first, holding the mold over her head and screaming as the plaster of paris is poured over her face. The rest of the team have not told her it takes a long time to dry, and now promptly leave her on the lounge floor, unable to speak, or move. At lunchtime Martin and Britney sit at the dinner table holding hands. Gillian, Angelina, Madonna and Tony have face moulds on now, and are waiting for them to set. Jennifer is by far the most adventurous after lunch when she starts to mould her breasts. Alan moulds both his legs. Britney decides to do her arms, as pouring cast over he face is "too scary" for the moment. Pierce and Shaggy both do their legs, and the remaining housemates model their faces too. By dinnertime the plasts can come off, and there are some pleasing results. The team place them in the sun outside to dry proparly, and decide which part of the body they are going to mould tomorrow. One of the chickens: - Cherie, is looking sickly. Brad bundles her into a cage and delivers her into the Diary room so she can be taken to see a vet. In the early evening, the group is told that the chicken has died of a viral infection. Two more chickens are removed from the coop (Leaving lara on her own) to see the vet, as they look slightly ill too. The housemates are given medication for Lara as a precautionary measure. Britney cries when she hears about the dead chicken, and collapses on the sofa with martin, while he calms her down. it is of note that the dead chicken was from the original smallest brother contest, and was named Hilda. Before bed, around 11 'o' clock, Brad and Jennifer play "I-spy" in the quiet cave. Jennifer seems much more cheerful about life in the house now Britney is with Martin, and both of them fall asleep in the cave (Lucy nicks Jennifer's bed). Before bed, Ann enters the diary room to start a major bitch about the female population of the household: "Britney is lazy, Jennifer is selfish, Lucy is too bloody quiet, Gillian seems to just sit around all day, Angelina takes over the kitchen, Madonna seems to just sit there moping too, and, going back to Lucy..." Ann is in the diary room for over an hour. After her marathon session, she rouses the girls sleeping in their bedroom asking where her toothbrush is. No-one can seem to find it, so Ann curses under her breath and goes to look for it herself. She finds it under one of the sofas, but not until two 'o' clock in the morning. She is in a very bad temper when she finally gets to sleep. DAY ELEVEN: - MONDAY Day eleven dawns slowly, but it turns out to be a very hot day. Immediatly after waking up, Pierce, Martin and Britney sunbathe in the garden. Britney seems very happy to have Martin around, asking him to fetch her apples to eat and cocktails to drink. Martin happily obliges. Shaggy talks to Ann while they both sit at one of the coffee tables in the kitchen. He says he is very happy that they have a task that is fairly simple for them all. Ann says it is true, but it is "A Rubbish task" and she wonders who dreams them up. Smallest brother calls Tony to the diary room, asking him who he thinks will be up for Eviction from the house this first week. Tony says he thinks that Britney and Jennifer will be targeted, and maybe Shaggy because of last week's task. he says that he thinks he will not have been far behind with votes. Smallest brother asks him to tell the team the result will be broadcast at 6'o' clock at night. The task must go on, and the team spend much of their time doing the plaster casts today. they manage to do two parts of their bodies today, meaning they only need another two parts, and then the parts can be assembled and painted. Everyone is really optomistic about this task being completed successfully. Angelina and Lucy both have plaster casts on longer than everyone else,, and have to eat lunch of pasta cooked by Madonna, sitting on the floor. Alan is starting to make sculptures out of the remaining plaster. he asks Smallest brother in the diary room wether the team can recive an award for this. The answer is no. It's fast approaching six, and Gillian and Madonna are nervous. They sit in the quiet cave and discuss who will be nominated. While they are both sure that they will be the ones targeted, Madonna suggests that Shaggy may be up with one of them. Gillian is sure she will be the one to go on Friday. It's 5:30p.m, and Smallest brother calls everyone to the outside table to hear the Nomination results. The team have a group hug before the results are announced. When it comes, they find out just who the rest of the housemates want out: Jennifer and Shaggy are up for eviction. Jennifer takes the news well, and just nods her head when her name is called, but Shaggy is different, although he says he is "Cool" with the nomination, the look on his face tells all: he is very dissapointed. Later, he tells Tony he is "Shocked and Gutted," but says he may have a chance in the public vote. Jennifer is called to the Diary Room to say she is happy with the result: "It was meant to be" she says, "And, although it will be hard to say goodbye to the house on Friday, I've had a good time here." She is certain she will be the one evicted. The day draws to a late close with everyone getting drunk on Barcadi and coke from the weekly shopping budget. Tony and Alan start falling off the sofas, and collapsing on the floor. Madonna and Gillian both start chuckling idiotically, Ann yells out "I hate you lot!" and Anglina runs outside and throws up in the chicken coop. Lucy drunkenly enters the diary room, glass in hand, and falls over the chair, spilling drink everywhere, and breaking the glass. She manages to recover and plonks herself down on the chair, asking Smallest Brother if he is "Single, Attractive, and like Chinese food." Smallest brother asks her to leave the diary room. Lucy persists, saying "Are you really single, or are you married to Smallest Sister? I like pot noodles.., do you?" Smallest Brother once more tries to get Lucy out of the diary room, but she starts laughing and saying "Where do you live? What's your favourite animal? What colour do you like, I like Blue." Smallest brother finally manages to get rid of Lucy by getting two security guards to go into the Dairy room by the locked back entrance and they manage to remove her. The team stay up, singing drinking songs and ranting, until very early morning. DAY TWELVE: - TUESDAY Angelina, Lucy, Madonna, Gillian, Martin, tony and Alan have terrible hangovers this morning, from the drink-fuelled activities last night. The others insist they strive to carry on with the challenge however, and are dragged from their beds to do the morning routine of plaster casts. When Shaggy has finished his first plaster cast, he is called to the diary room to discuss his nomination. "I'm gutted". He says, and refuses to say anything else. After lunch, the plaster casts are complete, and now the team must paint their models to best descibe their moods. They start, and finish at 5:00p.m. Now all they have to do is wait for it to dry and assemble it. Pierce is optomistic they will finish it by tomorow evening. he says in the diary room: "I really hope we finish this task successfully. it will mean a lot to us, having all that money to spend." After the casts are complete, everyone makes the best of a nice evening in the garden. Madonna and Gillian go for their favourite part of the house: the puppies, and the rest just lie and sunbathe. Martin and Britney are very close again, and go into the quiet cave to "chat", which turns into another kissing session. Ann tells everyone that she thinks that their relationship will certainly get them a few enemies in the house, herself for one. Jennifer admits she still doesnt like Britney. The evening is spent chatting, and after that, when the boys and girls retire to their rooms, the girls start to bitch about the male population of the household. Ann, (No surprise)is the ringleaderr, and starts first with Alan, who she says is "Too boring" and dissmisses him immediatly. David is dismissed as being "Too full of himself," and "with a game plan" There is a brief attempt to instigate a pillow fight, but after a few blows between the boys and the girls, everyone decides they are too tiredtonight, and so, after a quite boring day really, the housemates retire to bed around midnight. DAY THIRTEEN: - WEDNESDAY In the morning, the team piece together their plaster casts, and manage to hand them all in. Everyone is fairly confident that they have successfully completed the task, and Smallest brother reveals that he will reveal the results tomorrow: However, he will reveal at midday today who he thinks has done the best at the task: and who therefore will get 60 seconds of reassuring time on the phone to a friend or relative. Angelina and Lucy are very excited about it: Lucy predicts it will be Jennifer, but it is not: it is Tony, very surprisingly. Smallest brother tells him the painting was very good and it was the best of all 14 models. Tony decides to get 60 seconds through to Cherie, his wife: he says to her that he is doing fione, the house is nice, and he is getting on well with everyone. He wants to say more, but it cut off when the 60 seconds are up. He later tells david in the boy's room, sitting on the waterbed (Tony has gained the waterbed this week), that he urges david not to get the phone call, because it reminds you more of home, and it is very upsetting. After a late lunch of chip butties the team contemplate the challenge. Ann says they have completed it, as do Gillian and Pierce. The team have a very lazy day today: Gillian and Madonna going back to bed. In the afternoon, Smallest Brother sets the team a mini task: they must paint picytures of each other. These will be hung by the entrance door and crossed off by the housemates every time someone is evicted from the house. They set to work, and finish the task by 3:00. they leave the paintings to dry outside. To while away the rest of the afternoon, Pierce and Jennifer make an archery target. Britney improvises a bow from garden canes and elastic off the washing line. Everyone has fun having a go. Madonna is surprisingly goiod at it, but David beats them all. In the diary room, first Alan and then Angelina appear cheerful: Alan says he thinks the task was a good one, because it brought the housemates closer together, and they had lots of time to get to know one another. Angelina says she would not mind if she had been nominated and had to leave on Friday, but she says she is looking forward to another week, and hopefully she will not be up for eviction yet again. She is also looking forward to another task. the food supply is running very low, and Jennifer is worried that there will not be enough left for the next two days. she tell the team that if she goes on Friday, she will laugh to see them all starve if they have failed the task and only have 40 to spend. Then she and Shaggy come to blows when he says "You definatly will go on Friday, Jennifer." "Excuse me," comes the curt reply "I don't believe anyone asked you for you ******g opinion, and no-one ever will, so why don't you shut your ar*e." Everyone is very tense that the pair will come to blows, but shaggy simply lounges off into the bedroom. "Going to pack your bags?" Jennifer calls after him, and she and Ann start talking loudly about him. Jennifer later comes to the Diary Room, to say Shaggy is probably feeling nervous about his nomination, and she should not have been so fraught. She talks to Brad later about it, and he tells her not to worry about it. Lucy is being taught by Alan how to remember all the names of the plants in the garden. Lucy tries to look interested. Shaggy comes out of the bedroom to a mixed audience. Jennifer says she is sorry for what she has said, but Shaggy will not talk to her. Therefore, Brad starts to intervene, but Tony says to leave it, as Shaggy walks outside and goes into the quiet cave. He stays in there all night. DAY FOURTEEN: - THURSDAY Tomorrow night is eviction night, and Jennifer is scared that today will be her last full day in the house. She feeds and cleans out Lara the chicken, and is pleased to hear from Smallest brother that the other chickens are safe and well, and will be given back to the house tomorrow. The team discover that they have passed the task with flying colours this morning, and therefore have 120 to spend on shopping this week. Jennifer draws up the list, saying she feels weird, because it may be that she is gone before the food is delivered. An amazing 2/3rds of the money goes on Alcohol, and some ciggarettes are purchased for Angelina. Shaggy leaves the quiet cave around lunchtime, and makes up with Jennifer. Martin and Britney openly kiss around lunchtime, sending alarm bells ringing. Tony and Pierce admit that it is because of the confined atmosphere of the house. Ann asks Martin up front if he would go any further than a snog. He replies "no" but Ann is not too sure, as she later tells Madonna. After lunch the team are forced into the house by torrential rain. There is thunder, and the girls start to tell ghost stories to each other. Lucy tells one about a hall where soldiers were stationed in the second world war. "One night, a soldier, who was lying in bed, felt hands around his neck. In the morning, his hair had turned white." The girls are spooked, and the boys start to scare them even more by jumping out at them whenever they can. the thunderstorm is over by 4:00p.m, and everyone finds the pond is overflowing. They decide to try to bail some water out of it with buckets, but it escalates into yet another waterfight, this time: boys vs girls. The boys win the fight, and, drenched, the girls go inside to get changed. Gillian wishes she had a warm shower now, but,of course, the hot water is off. Lucy seems to have forgotten this: and lets out a squeal when she gets into the shower! Boredom is paramount today, but Ann later says in the diary room that she thinks it will liven up after the first eviction tomorrow night: "When someones gone, it will feel more exciting as we are all thrown out one by one." she says. When asked, she says she thinks Shaggy will be evicted tomorrow, simply because he "Has a game plan and will stop at nothing to win, even if it means insulting fellow housemates" She thinik the public will now feel sorry for Jennifer afetr her row with Shaggy: "She's been in two arguments already and she isn't really throwing her weight around: she's just been unfortunate" Pre eviction stress is getting to all the housemates. David says in the diary room that the house will change dramatically when either of jennifer or Shaggy is evicted: "They both offer.. you know.. different things to the house." Brad also has the same views in the diary room: "If Jennifer goes the house will seem a little bit more subdued, but if Shaggy goes we will also feel different." That night, jennifer is not going to make maybe this last night of hers in the house go down quietly. The team have a huge pillowfight, started by her, that takes them through into the house and garden. Jennifer leaps up onto the table and hits everyone with pillows. The fight gowes on into the early hours of the morning. DAY FIFTEEN: - FRIDAY MORNING: - FIRST EVICTION DAY Friday morning must come, and come it does.
