| WEEK TWO: - Shaggy's out of there!, Pierce and Alan nominated, Hot Tub revealed! DAY FIFTEEN: - FRIDAY - FIRST EVICTION NIGHT Jennifer is the first up on Friday. The others soon follow and everyone starts to clean up the house so that it looks welcoming when the Smallest brother presenter, Abby, contacts the house. Smallest Brother lets the team know they will know the eviction results at nine o clock that evening. This morning, Jennifer starts to pack. When asked why by Brad, she says it will save her a job tonight. Jennifer still thinks she will be the one to go. Outside, Madonna and Gillian are once more performing their double act by pushing each other in the pond. Britney comments that she can see them both going a long way in the house. Angelina lends a helping hand to Jennifer, packing in the girl's room. Angelina says that she still can't see jennifer going. She says that she is "Much more boring." Meanwhile, Ann has found an ally: namely Britney. They both discuss how they are going to survive in the household, and Ann starts to bitch about all the other housemates. Jennifer, of course, is primarily on the chopping board, and Britney and Ann decide her "Time is up." As soon as they utter this word, Ann is called to the diary room to be ticked off about discussing nominations. David and Martin are in the final of the tennis tourament, and eeryone turns up to watch. David ultimatly wins, and Gillian goes to the Diary Room to ask for some some kind of reward for him. Her kind guesture is turned down by Smallest Brother, and the team finally decide that they will have to get something he wants on the weekly shopping budget next week (If David is still in, points out Shaggy.) Lunchtime, and Jennifer cooks soup for everyone. She decides to make some bread in the afternoon, so Angelina helps her in this task. The others go outside, and sunbathe. Tony asks Shaggy if he thinks he will be evicted this evening. Shaggy says that he is not sure, but thinks he has more of a chance than Jennifer surviving the public vote. Jennifer puts the bread in the oven and has a sit down at the coffee table in the kitchen. She looks cheerful, and she tells Alan later on that she has resigned to herself the fact that she will be going this evening. As the night draws in, the team are called to the lounge, and now the two nominees must give a pre-eviction speech. Jennifer says "Thanks for everything, everyone. Even you, Britney" (At this Britney scowls at Jennifer) "It's been a great couple of weeks for me and I hope to see you all when you all get out." Shaggy's Speech is different "I think I will stay, but in the event of me being evicted, thanks." Then the team chat, eat a hurried meal, and await the coming of 9:00p.m And it comes, quicker than what they would have wished. The voice of Abby booms into the house via the intercom. "SmallestBrother house, this is Abby, I have the results of this eviction vote, and I now know who is going to leave tonight. Let me reveal that person's name to you." Abby goes on to say, that with a massive 89% of the public vote, Shaggy is the one who will be evicted tonight. He looks speechless, as does Jennifer. Britney's face is contorted in rage. Abby tells Shaggy he has 30 minutes to pack and take in the house for the last time. The team watch Shaggy slump into the boys room to pack. Jennifer shakes her head, and the others confide in her that they really thought she would be going. Jennifer is called to the diary room, and is asked what she thinks of the result: "I'm amazed and shocked. I really thought Shaggy would stay in over me. It just goes to show that the public percieve things differently to us. And with that huge majority, 89%! Thankyou, outside world!" Meanwhile, in the bedroom, a frustrated Britney is helping Shaggy pack. he tells her that he is gutted to be the first one to leave, but it could not be helped, and he has enjoyed his time here. With just quarter of an hour to go until his eviction Shaggy goes into the diary room to talk about his feelings, but Smallest brother just says, whenever Shaggy tries to speak "Smallest Brother recognises you as evicted, and therefore you cannot speak with him." Shaggy later says it was like an answering machine. With not even Smallest Brother to talk to, Shaggy resigns himself to the fact that he will have to leave. he walks round the house, and leaves his luxury items in Britney's possession. He is made a cup of tea by Angelina, and he sits and chats until Abby once more contacts the house, plainly saying: "Shaggy, it's time to leave" A minutes timer counts down, and the team cluster round the doorway, saying goodbye to Shaggy. He is embraced by Jennifer and the rest of the girls, but Jennifer has angry tears in her eyes, she really thought she would go this week. As the timer counts down from ten, Shaggy grabs his suitcase, and says his final goodbyes. When all the time has gone, a siren wails, and Smallest Brothers voice says simply "Shaggy, you are ordered to leave the Smallest Brother house." The door slides open, and smoke billows in, a nice effect from the walk of shame area. Shaggy grabs his case, and walks out without saying anything to anyone. The team are contemplating the idea to hang out of the door and wave, but as soon as Shaggy steps through the door, it quickly closes behind him, and the siren drowns out any noises from outside. Shaggy walks down the walk of shame to a piece of his own music "It wasn't me" Fireworks erupt from the side of the walk as he meets his family and Abby. He is taken to the studio for an interview (You can read it in his bio page) and is very happy to be back in the outside world once more. When Shaggy has gone, the housemates discuss the shock they felt when they heared Shaggy's name called. Jennifer is amazed that Shaggy was evicted with such a huge majority, and thought she would get more than 11% of the public vote. The housemates stay up late, crossing off Shaggy's picture on the wall with Lucy's lipstick. WEEK 3 DAY SIXTEEN: - SATURDAY The housemates rise very late today, partly because they want to forget last night's frenzied eviction. Now one of them has gone, it seems they have been launched into the competion now, and they are all starting to get knocked out. As soon as all of them are up, Smallest Brother sets the team a mini task. They must each roll a ball down a long metal strip towards a line near the end. If they go past the line they are disqualified. The nearest on the other side of the line to it wins, and the housemate whose ball that is wins a book of their choice for a week. The team get one practise, and Ann tries to think up ways to cheat. After this the team give it their best shot. 7 of the housemates cross the line with their balls and Ann rocks the table to get her ball nearer to the line, therefore she is discovered by Smallest Brother and immediatly disqualified. Lucy ultimatly wins, although it is a close run thing between her and Brad. She chooses an Agatha Christie book for a week, but she cannot share it with anyone or use it for any other purpose than reading. The task takes all morning, and so the team laze about and chat about the eviction in the garden in the afternoon. Ann comes to the Diary Room to say she is somehow glad Shaggy went because he was "Boring." Next into the famous chair is Britney, who says that she is "Terrified" that Jennifer will pick a fight with her. She says that one of them has to go or she thinks they will "both drive everyone crazy" Sitting by the puppy kennals, Madonna and Gillian discuss the prospect of how to survive the public vote. They are both ticked off for discussing nominations, but they dont really understand why. The food appears in the storeroom today. Jennifer unacksn it while Angelina supervises. Angelina is cooking tonight's meal, and Britney helps her make some bread. She forgets to put the yeast in, so it doesnt rise, and everyone has a good laugh about it. britney is very upset, and dashes to the diary room in a huge sulk to talk: "I don't think there was anything wrong with my bread" she mutters innocently, twiddling her thumbs in the chair "I tried my best, and I forgot one tiny little thing, and now they all hate me!" She bursts out exageratingly. When she emerges, Jennifer tries hard not to laugh, as Martin embraces Britney to make up for the rest of the housemates. They eat dinner in silence, and a double act by Gillian and Madonna doesnt break the subdued atmosphere. After dinner Pierce initiates a conversation about airport delays (Gillian, Madonna, Brad and Ann fall asleep) and the team go to bed early after a dissapointing day after the first eviction. DAY SEVENTEEN: - SUNDAY The inmates rise very early today, surfacing around 6 'o' clock. David cleans out the chickens and the puppies, and Lucy goes into the quiet cave with a snack and her book to read. She doesn';t come out until lunchtime. Martin and Britney have a hit around in the tennis court, with Brad watching. But, unbenowngst to Martin, after they finish their game, Britney reveals to Ann that she doesn't like Martin and thinks he is using her to survive within the house. Ann, always direct, tells Britney that she should cut off the relationship. Britney says she will take her advice if the romance continues. Angelina comes to the diary room to say she is very fraught: "I'm being quiet at the moment. I think i'm just discovering my surroundings first. I think I may become more adventurous as the game progresses." Amongst the flowers, Madonna tells Alan that he needs to be more adventurous and must not tend te flowers as often if he wants to survive. He says it is what he wants to do, and gets rather angry with Madonna. The others note his reaction down Today, Smallest Brother sets the team their weekly task: All 13 of them must learn and revise as much as they can from 13 general knowledge books provided. On Wednesday, five of them must volanteir to sit a test set by Mensa (The club where you must have a certain IQ to join) The other housemates must help them practise. On thursday they will sit the test, and if four or more of them pass, they have sucessfully completed the challenge. Britney is terrified about the task. Ann is in histerics: She loves to make fun of members of Mensa on her televsion show "The Weakest Link" The team decide to wager just 5% of their 90 shopping budget: - simply because they think they will do rubbish. No-one has a clue who will sit the test. Lucy is tearing her hair out by dinnertime looking through a huge book of general knowledge. Pierce says it is like being back at school. Jennifer says it is worse. After a lot of hours revising, the team finally settle in the lounge for a relax. Angelina and Lucy go into the en-suite for a relaxing bathe. Gillian comments in the lounge that she likes everyone in the house, and she is clueless as to who she should nominate tomorrow. She and Madonna wind each other up, chasing each other around the lounge and keeping the others in stitches. Then tere is yet another power cut in the house, keeping everyone in the dark for half an hour. Gillian falls over and sprains her ankle. Madonna puts a packet of frozen peas on the swelling, and Gillian is helped into the Diary Room by Brad, where an emergancy doctor. She is perscribed painkillers and crutches, much to her horror. DAY EIGHTEEN: - MONDAY: - SECOND NOMINATION DAY It's the second nomination day in the Smallest Brother house, and no-one seems to know just who they will nominate: -Except there is one person, who everyone wants out of the way. Read on to find out who: - Who nominates WHO?! WHO NOMINATES WHO? ALAN NOMINATES: - Pierce, Jennifer ANGELINA NOMINATES: - Alan, Ann ANN NOMINATES: - Brad, Alan BRAD NOMINATES: - Alan, Tony BRITNEY NOMINATES: - Jennifer, Alan DAVID NOMINATES: - Pierce, Alan GILLIAN NOMINATES: - Pierce, Alan JENNIFER NOMINATES: - Alan, Britney LUCY NOMINATES: - Britney, Alan MADONNA NOMINATES: - Pierce, Alan MARTIN NOMINATES: - Gillian, Alan PIERCE NOMINATES: - Alan, Ann SHAGGY: - EVICTED TONY NOMINATES: - Alan, Angelina NOMINATION STANDINGS ALAN: - Twelve nomination votes ANGELINA: - One nomination vote ANN: - Two nomination votes BRAD: - One nomination vote BRITNEY: - Two nomination votes DAVID: - No nomination Votes GILLIAN: - One nomination vote JENNIFER: - Two nomination Votes LUCY: - No nomination Votes MADONNA: - No nomination votes MARTIN: - No nomination votes PIERCE: - Four nomination votes SHAGGY: - EVICTED TONY: - One nomination Vote WHO'S UP FOR EVICTION?: - Alan and Pierce. Alan was nominated unanomously by his fellow housemates, on the grounds that he is too boring and spends too much time in the garden. Pierce is standing with him, unfortunate to have recieved just two nominations more than anyone else except Alan. He too, is dismissed as being boring. Madonna even has the cheek to say he does not play his James Bond role well enough in the house. COMMENTS: - It is amazing that all the housemates have unanomously nominated Alan for this eviction. Jennifer and Britney nominate each other once more. Madonna and Gillian make exactly the same nominations. 4 people escape being voted for once: David, Lucy, Madonna and Martin. After the nominations are over, Smallest Brother tells the team they will recieve the results of the nominations tomorrow. The team plough full speed ahead on the weekly challenge. Ann is tested by David, who says she is "the best" at the task. Ann still is annoyed about how terrible the tasks have been. Alan and Lucy are in the garden, and realise there is something locked under one of the flowerbeds in the garden. Smallest Brother will not reveal what is underneath, so Lucy and Alan speculate all afternoon as to what it might be (Brad calls them lazy for not helping revise for the task. Jennifer is certain she will be nominated for eviction once more. She goes to the Diary Room to say she really thinks she has to be: "maybe with britney this time, too. I really don't know. All I know is I will be nominated again." After jennifer leaves Pierce is called to the diary room to be asked how he thinks the team are getting on. Pierce says that there is friction between Jennifer and Britney, but apart from that, they are doing fine: "but we need to act more like a team, pulling together and helping each other" he says. He continues by saying that he felt "Guilty for nominating Ann, but I really think she may be letting the team down" Jennifer burns tonight's dinner (Britney scoffs at her, telling Martin "She's Manic and Frantic, she is.") Jennifer indeed seems a little bit on edge, and Madonna goes into the diary room to comment on it: "She's probably had the worst time in here out of all of us. She has fallen out with two housemates, has yelled at them, has been nominated first, has thought she was going first, didn't go first, felt guilty for Shaggy leaving, and now thinks she has been nominated again. I wish she would just chill." Smallest Brother advises her to have a chat with Jennifer, and she says she will later on in the evening. Meanwhile Martin is trying to cuddle up to Britney outside, who finally cracks: "Martin, I don't fancy you. I'm sorry if you got that impression, but if you did you are way stupid" She bursts out, tearing herself away. Martin says he realised that anyway, but looks really hurt. he goes to the tennis court to have a game with Pierce. After dinner Britney buries herself in the general knowledge books, accompanied by Brad and Angelina. David tests her, and she gets all her questions wrong. She goes to the diary room: "I'm not volanteiring for that test, me" she moans. When quizzed about Martin she says "I think he took it really well and he's a really nice guy, but I just don't think it was going to work." Study continues, with Ann and Tony joining in. In the girls room, madonna (Accompainied by best buddy Gillian) is chatting to Jennifer about how she should be handling life in the house better: "I am trying" Jennifer insists: "I just cannot stand Britney. I really hope one of us goes this week" Madonna yells at Brad to join in the discussion, and he calms Jennifer down a bit: "Just chill" he tells her. Jennifer emerges into the lounge, looking and seeming less on edge for the rest of the evening. Her little chat seems to have cheered her up, and she makes everyone (Even Britney) supper of chocolate chip cookies she had been baking beforehand. Before bedtime Gillian is called to the diary room to be asked about who she gets on with in the house. Her answer wouldn't raise any eyebrows: "Madonna. She is really good fun and we can both have a laugh about the house and life in the house together. I like Jennifer and Brad too. Ann can also be freindly, but I'm not sure about her yet. There is more to her than meets the eye" Lucy is terrified in the middle of te night when all the housmates are in bed. A spider from the ceiling falls onto her face while she is sleeping in her sleeping bag. She is awoken as the massive arachnid crawls across her face. She screams, waking up the girls and half of the boys. Tony drags her to the kitchen and makes her a cup of coffee to calm her nerves after the encounter. Angelina even offers to sleep in the sleeping bag. Lucy gratefully has the bed. Angelina turns on the fountain to calm everyone down, but finds she cannot sleep in the sleeping bag. She goes to sleep outside in the quiet cave. DAY NINETEEN: - TUESDAY Day nineteen in the Smallest Brother house. Smallest Brother suprises the housemates this morning with the arrival of four more chickens: Thus making there eight in the Chicken coop. The team decide to call them Penelope, Terri, Mandy, and Gillian after no-one in particular, apart from the last chicken looks like Gillian according to Madonna, so therefore it is named after her. The four new chickens join Lara, Abby and Mel in the coop. Angelina is concerned they are too overcrowded. Some more pet problems arrive in the morning: One of the fish in the quiet cave is fighting it's compainions in the tank. The team cannot do anything about it, because the tanks are set in the walls. Smallest brother tells them that the fish will be removed when he sees fit. Britney announces loudly in the garden this morning that she would love to walk out of the house. If the door opened, she says she would go, without thinking: "But I wouldn't scale the wall or plead to be let out, me" she mutters to herself as she pets the puppies: "There are two reasons. I couldn't scale the wall, and I wouldn't like to leave all these people behind without asking them." In the middle of a fish and chips dinner the nominations are announced: Alan and Pierce are on the chopping board, and they both seem to take it really well. Alan says he is not suprised, as he is quite boring to have around. Pierce simply shrugs it off. So those are the two up for eviction, and now the team get on with the task. They have decided who they want to sit it, namely the five people who have revised the hardest and tried the best: - Ann, Alan, Tony, Gillian and Madonna. They will tell Smallest brother tomorrow who they want to sit the test. FORWARD TO MORE NEWS> |
