That being said, you'll have noticed a new snazzy riff on the main page. I take pride in all my works of art, so the case is no different with that one. I don't know where it came from (maybe the soul of Kurt is within me fingers?) but it's my creation, and I aim to turn it into something great. The version you hear is just a portion of what I've got recorded on my side of the screen, but all the same I think you can feel the mood of it. As far as lyrics go for it, right now they're at the begining stages but so far so good. Plan on jammin the shit out of it for the next couple of days to tweak it, (So good ol' Joe and Mark upstairs are gonna hate me a lot more than they already do) but once I'm good and ready I aim to play AND SING it at a Y! SlaMJaM.
That brings up the next point. I haven't really been trying that much, but I'm growing more confident in regards to singing and playing at the same time. Hopefuly I can put to rest the age old question "Can you teach an old dog new tricks?" Time'll tell!

So it's October! You know what that means. Free candy, egg tossing, and the only day of the year that goth people get to dress up normal!!! (Atleast through the eye's of the mass majority of folks whom walk the land)
Define pussifyed. Not even more than a week into this month, and already...3 radio personalities (2 local, 1 national) have been reprimanded because of racist comments. For fucks sake. Chris Rock can go around sayin "Whitey" this, and "Cracka" that. Rappers can damn the man, and slur caucasians all they want. But one slip of the tounge on something so meaningless, and WHOA SHIT, it's time for a witch hunt!!!
Now I don't condone such actions, but in all honesty, this is the 21st century. We've been granted the first amendment right (that card's been played enough already but it's fitting here all the same) yet when something doesn't agree with the majority, that right gets trampled. The comments that were made should not have been, but the actions taken for such can be seen in exactly the same light. If people are going to get all huffy over something so trivial as a road we've been forced to walk down so many times in the past, we as a society will never leave the path. Yet seemingly, everyone wants to journey beyond it. To rise above it. In order to rise above it, you must ignore ignorance. "Oh but that's letting them get away with it!" In a way, yeah! But if you show it no time, it'll be no time til it's gone. It's like a small child acting up for attention. If you show it that, and then leave it alone again, it will only repeat it's self. If you ignore it through and through, they'll see they hold no baring, and drop it. And if that's what we all strive for, then that is the best course of action to take. Inaction is still action, only on a lesser scale. But the proverb always states, "Less is more" Give it less, and we'll become more.
