MD Forte is owned by Allergan Corporation, which owns a few other prescription and non-prescription products. The line is heavily focused on the use of alpha and beta hydroxy acids, and thus focuses much of its attention of exfoliation and skin renewal.  You have to be very careful when selecting an MD Forte product because the hydroxy acid content can range from 1% to upwards of 30% depending on the formula.  If you have sensitive skin or rosacea this could be a problem line for you.  Because they seem to be experts at knowing how to formulate hydroxy acid products there is a lower incidence of adverse reactions than with most other hydroxy acid based lines and reviewers have mostly had very favorable experiences with these products with a rare occurance of irritation.
Prices seem to fluctuate between $25 and $60 for 1 ounce and mostly depends on the hydroxy acid concentration.  This is a very useful line for this with pigment/melasma problems and acne, and because of the resurfacing nature of hydroxy acids many of these products should also help with fine lines and skin tone refinishing.  However, for more general anti-aging (collagen synthesis stimulation, antioxidant therapy, etc.) we would suggest checking out other lines.

Typical Price Range
Up to $60 for a face product.
