Anti-Aging Rating
The Anti-Aging Rating is based on a simple 1 to 5 grading scale with 5 being the best and 1 being the worst. Products lines are rated according to their anti-aging effects, which means that while things acne, rosacea, etc are taken into consideration they are supplimental to determining a anti-aging score. The rating system is largely focused on how a brand treats skin aging conditions such as wrinkles, hyperpigmentation (age spots, freckles, etc), sagging, loss of tone, inflammation, and other cosmetic concerns related to skin aging.
Overall Impression
The Overall Impression rating reflects the general impression the line left on reviewers, taking into consideration everything from price to product selection to the feel of the products on the skin. It reflects the collective impression the line makes on most consumers based on submitted reviews. It is a summation of all these factors coupled with the anti-aging effects of the line. It is based on the following scale: Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor, Very Poor.
