June 22, 2004- How am I getting so lucky? More great waves, actually the best I've seen at this certain beach. Except I wiped out alot and I scratched up my left hand. I did it because I figure I get a better ride when there is barely any water, just like half an inch. So I started running, but I waited to long, so I start skimming fast, and then I hit a spot with no water! I go flying off the board. and I feel really stupid (which it was) Anyway, I tried to get my 360 but all I could get was a 180. The waves kept coming in and messed me up.
June 29, 2004- Water was calm. But almost no waves at all so it was kind of hard to find good waves. I brought a friends with me and she finally learned! I could have stayed longer but a storm started coming in...
July 3, 2004- Today I went with my friend skimboarding. Water was calm, and I really tried getting out there on the water. I did! I couldn't go very far, but it was nice because I could really practice riding waves. Well actually I could only practice getting out there 'cause there weren't any waves to ride! But I stayed out there for about 3 hours just skimboarding over and over again, and right now my muscles are really sore!
July 4, 2004- Tonight I went out to the beach to watch the fireworks. I brought my skmboard in case it wasn't to crowded, but I only got to skimboard for a little bit b4 the crowd started pouring in. There were 2 other guys that were really great at skimboarding, I watched them for a bit, but then that beach turned out to be like DIsney World or something! When it was dark, I could see the water and it was perfect for taking your board out! I would have except for the fact that I couldn't see my board!
