Native American Minor
The Native American Studies minor is designed for students who want to learn more about the rich cultural heritage of the first peoples of North America. It is an interdisciplinary minor that includes courses from Anthropology, History, Communications, Art History, and Mexican American Studies. The minor includes a historical core, a cultural core, and three upper division elective courses.
Historical Core:
ANTH 164 New World Archaeology and/or HIST 183 The West and the Native American (one or two courses, 3-6 units)
Cultural Core:
