Welcome to our newly established chapter of Pi of California
Anthropology Honors Society a
chapter of Lambda Alpha National Anthropology Honors Society!
As new chapter, this is an exciting year for us. Pi of California serves to recognize the academic
achievements of students in our department.
Pi of California is student run by members holding the offices of
President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary. Each year these
officers, together with the leadership of the Anthropology and Behavioral
Science Club, organize several academic and social events.
Pi of California Honor Society members
qualify for the national annual scholarship awards which provides $5000 to
a deserving graduating senior major in anthropology and a $1000 annual
Dean's List award to a deserving junior.
Members can also submit their work for publication in the Lambda Alpha
Journal, which provides 50% of its space for student publications.
