Requirements in the Double Major - 57 Units

Anthropology - 30 units
ANTH 11 (3 units)
ANTH 12 or ANTH 13 (3 units)
ANTH 131 and ANTH 191 (6 units)
ANTH 149, ANTH 155, ANTH 168A, ANTH 168B, or ANTH 169 (3 units).
Complete five additional upper division anthropology courses (15 uits). (A 3 unit maximum of individual studies may be applied to the degree.) *

Psychology - 12 units
PSYC 01 General Psychology (3 units)
Select additional upper division Psychology courses (9 units).

Sociology - 12 units
SOCI 001 Intro to Soci (3 units)
SOCI 101 Systematic Soci Theory (3 units)
Select additional upper division sociology courses (6 units)

Statistics - 3 units
STAT 95 (listed under PSYC) or SOCI 015 or SOCI 102 (3 units)
Pre-requisite for PSYC 18 or SOCI 104 You need to pass the Entry Level Math (ELM) test to enroll in STAT 95 or SOCI 15.

* 100W does not count toward your upper division major units.

In addition to the above major requirements, students must complete university general requirements (59 units), and complete enough electives so that they have completed at least 120 total units. Elective units may be used to complete a minor; they may be selected in consultation with an advisor; or they may simply reflect your interests. We recommend that you take ANTH 100W to fulfill your Area Z requirement. It does not count as one of your five upper division major courses in Anthropology.
