Evelyn Longson, 89, died October 15, 1995, from a sudden illness.
Born September 17, 1906, in Willard, Utah, to Harvey and Ida Pettingill Woodyatt. Married Henry Longson January 30, 1930, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple.
She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in many positions including Relief Society President. She especially enjoyed serving with her husband for 12 years in the Salt Lake Temple.
She was a devoted wife, mother grandmother and great-grandmother.
Survived by her son, Frank Longson and wife Betty; daughter, Jane Bradford; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband and two granddaughters.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 18, 1995, at the Mtn. View 3rd Ward Chapel, 1889 South 1700 East. Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 Highland Drive, and Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
