Chinese Spring Rolls
INGREDIENTS
  • ¼ k ground lean pork
  • ¼ k shrimps, finely chopped
  • 1/3 c turnips, chopped
  • 4 pcs. dried mushrooms, soaked then chopped
  • ½ c spring onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 30-35 pcs egg roll (lumpia wrapper)
  • Chinese Spring Rolls
    PROCEDURES
    1. Combine the pork, shrimps, turnips, mushrooms, and onion in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
    2. Blend in egg and soy sauce. Beat mixture thoroughly.
    3. On one end of the egg roll, spoon about 2 tablespoons of the pork mixture and roll tightly.
    4. Brush the end of a wrapper with water to seal.
    5. Deep fry in hot oil.
