Reynolds Tobacco continues to introduce innovative products and unique packaging on its key brands, to distinctively differentiate the brands and broaden their appeal among adult smokers. In 2001, the company introduced new tobacco blends on selected Camel and Doral products, and continued to offer creative packaging such as Salem Black Label in Slide BoxTM Packaging. Salem Cigarettes is the first menthol cigarette brand to actively market two unique taste signatures within its product line. The brand also offers unique Slide BoxTM packaging, along with one green-tipped cigarette in each Slide Box. Launched in 1996, SALEM was one of the first cigarette brands to establish the menthol category. With a key presence in Asian markets, SALEM in sold in over 30 countries and is today available in a range of brand styles. |
