Indochina Tiger (Panthera Tigris Corbetti)
The Indochina Tiger, also knownw as the Panthera Tigris
Corbetti, was named after a great hunter and author, Jim Corbetti. It is smaller and
darker than the Begal. It has short stripes that turn into spots. This tiger lives in
Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, parts of Burma, Malaysia. San Diego Zoo has two of them. The
Indochina Tigers have the second largest population with 1400-1500.
