| Islet Cave |
| Entering Islet Cave To enter Islet Cave, first go to Eastern Tundaria Islet. Once there jump across the ice blocks, push the log down, then push the female penguin across the log back to her lover, you'll be rewarded with a Pretty Stone. Next, go to SouthEastern Angara Islet, make the two blocks fall on top of each other so that they create a large block. Then use frost on the puddle then jump across and climb the vine. When the bird comes to his nest, mind read him and give him the pretty stone for a Red Scarf. Afterwards go to Northern Osenia Islet and use Sand, acquired in Gaia Rock, in the yellow dirt path. This should enable you to cross to the other side of the fence. Mind Read the cow and trade him the Red Scarf for Milk. Then head to West Indra Islet, and follow the path to get to the dog, then mind read him and trade him the Milk for a Li'l Turtle. Finally, head to Sea of Time Islet and mind read the turtle to give him the Li'l Turtle. He'll then bring you to this secret spot, the Islet Cave. Before acquiring Teleport You can't get everything in this cave for now so come back after you acquire Teleport, in the Mars Lighthouse. Anyways for now, we can get a djinni, Petra. Upon entering Islet Cave, head down the first room. When you get to the second floor, go to the teleport circle, head left and board the log to get Turtle Boots. Then go right, jump across the water then board the log, head down, jump across the water, then board the horizontal placed log. This will bring you to the djinni, be sure to save before the fight as he might run, causing you to have yo redo the puzzle. After acquiring Petra, board the log back, cross the water, and this time head up until you reach another log, board it then head down , board another log to get the Rusty Staff which can be re-made into a Dracomace, this is it for now. After Acquiring Teleport Go to the second floor, use teleport on the circle then go through the door. Head through the first hallway. In the second one, when you reach a water goddess statue, use Tremor on it to bring Serac out, defeat him to claim him as your own. Then head through three more hallways until you reach Sentinel, the boss that guards Catastrophe. Sentinel This boss recovers 200HP and 30PP per turn. He attacks thrice during a round and can cast attacks like Spark Plasma and Freeze Prism. Also Psynergy is useless against him. Just use weapon unleashes or summons to defeat him. His weakness is Earth and he resists Water. Sol Blade's unleash, Megiddo is a very good attack to use on him. When you finally defeat him, you'll acquire Catastrophe's summon tablet! Miscellanous Wonder Birds, monsters that give a whopping 8622 exp points can be found in Islet Cave's hallways, but they tend to run away often. Also, Wonder Birds drop Dark Matter, Cruel Dragons, the Tisiphone Edge, and Druj drop Berserker Bands. |
