You have a chance of acquiring these items after a battle with a specified monster. Killing the monsters with a djinni of their weakness will increase the chance of acquiring the item.

There are other drops like nut, water of life etc. but I won't list them since they are easy to come by and are dropped by various monsters.


             
Random Number Generator Methods

Below are listed some methods that guarantee you getting the rare drop after a battle. Credit goes to Terence, Astral Fire, Darkpanther and others for finding out these wondrous methods!

Basic Rules: None of your characters must have a staus ailment, the person attacking with the djinni has to attack the third (VERY IMPORTANT!) You must unleash the djinni of the monster's weakness and make a flash-kill, the monster dies while screaming twice and flashes. Your party must be a lot faster than the monsters so that monsters don't get a chance to attack on the first turn.
Step 1
For an RNG to work, you need to save in a room, do a hard reset(turn power off) then turn power on. run around until you enter a random battle. If it's the desired monsters, go to step 2 , if not repeat.

Step 2 :
Example getting the Tisiphone Edge:
Do Step 1 until you run into a duo of Cruel Dragons or a Cruel Dragon and a Druj.
Agility Order:
Turn 1
Felix casts Mother Gaia (Big arrow on Cruel Dragon)
Sheba casts Shine Plasma (Big arrow on Cruel Dragon)
Jenna casts Cycle Beam (Big arrow on Cruel Dragon)
Piers casts Glacier (Big arrow on Cruel Dragon)

Turn 2
Felix casts Quake (Big arrow on Cruel Dragon)
Sheba casts Plasma (Big arrow on Cruel Dragon)
Jenna unleashes Core on Cruel Dragon (Cruel Dragon dies and flashes)
Piers Defends

Turn 3
Felix attacks
Sheba attacks
Jenna attacks
Piers attacks.

End of battle.
You got the Tisiphone Edge.

Note: Also, if you can't kill the enemy or kill it too early, cast a weaker or stronger version of the spell you're using (Ex: plasma, shine plasma)
If it didn't work, review the basic rules and make sure that the djinni unleashing person attacks third!

Other methods work just like this one, except that you change the djinni unleash according to the enemy's weakness.
