| This is just a small information page about Planet Golden Sun. Planet Golden Sun first started out on December 25th 2001. At first it was only a small site with a one-page layout. Its content came mainly from Isaac's World, a good but now dead site. The site started to grow slowly until its owner and only staff member decided to redo the layout. The layout had a dark blue navigation bar with red-colored links. It maintained constant activity for 2 months, during which a lot of events happened like Survivor 1 at Isaac's Revenge. Surprisingly, Planet Golden Sun fared quite well and was voted off during the 6th week, 2 weeks before the finals. Things were going well at that time, and Planet Golden Sun was number 6th in a GS topsite. But soon, the owner's interest in the site faded away, and so from February 12th 2002 it seemed that the site was dead. During that time, many new GS sites suddenly sprung up, one of the most famous being GS Realm. Those sites were the new generation of GS sites and were mostly better than their predecessors. Again, a GS Survivor took place at Isaac's Revenge, but this time Planet GS was left out. Then suddenly out of nowhere, I decided to start updating the site again on November 3rd 2002, with some minor layout changes, like making the navigation bar stay on every page. During this time, I acquired some new affiliates such as Golden Sun Challenge and Golden Age. But this was shortlived, as I was soon bored again. The site was rumored dead again after December 3rd 2002. Finally upon the release of The Lost Age, I decided to re-open the site, totally overhaul the layout and start updating like mad! This has started since May 2nd and has been up for 1 month and a half now! And I hope that I will not get bored with it until a long long long time! For now just enjoy the updates!
