Part One:
Sonic keeps the freedom fighters cool by running on the surface of
a river. He stops creating the mist when he sees a family of ducks
and falls into the water. Tails thinks about jumping in the water,
but Sally is suddenly cold. Snow starts to fall, which becomes a
blizzard. Meanwhile, Robotnik is proud of his Weather Annihilator.
After turning the environment cold, Robotnik will use an infrared detector
to find things that have body heat. In the meantime, the freedom
fighters look for shelter. Sally tries to locate the nearest cave
using Nicole. Soon Snively determines that there are warm-blooded
creatures in a cave. Robotnik says that they are the freedom fighters
and that they should proceed into the cave. Meanwhile, in the cave,
the freezing freedom fighters see a shadow that says to follow him.
Part Two:
Robotnik pouts when he arrives at the cave, making Snively search again for the
freedom fighters. Below the cave's floor, the freedom fighters walk in a
warm area. The figure explains that they control their own environment.
The freedom fighters are introduced to the Arctic Mobians (Guntiver,
Augustus, Sealia,
Erma, and Flip),
a group that went to visit family and friends when Robotnik rose to power.
To avoid being captured, they hid under the cave where Robotnik's sensors could
not detect them. Since they also need a cold environment, they created an
Arctic Zone.
Sonic still wants to fight Robotnik, but Sally says that he would freeze.
The Arctic Mobians say could be trained in the Arctic Zone to help adapt
to the weather. The freedom fighters are for the idea, and Sonic
says they also need to find a way to use the snow.
One week later, Snively begs Robotnik to leave the cold environment.
Robotnik decides to leave the swatbots to guard the tower when suddenly
a snowball crushes a swatbot. The freedom fighters prepare the catapult
to shoot another huge snowball.
Part Three:
Robotnik decides to turn the Weather Annihilator to the max as Snively
decides to do something to redeem himself. The freedom fighters
stop attacking the tower and are soon ambushed by Snively, who freezes
them all into a block of ice. He uses a vehicle to push the block
of ice, but it stops moving. Augustus holds the back of the vehicle.
Snively points his ice gun at Augustus, but Guntiver attacks Snively.
Swatbots run toward Snively, but Flip skates on the ice and trips the swatbots.
Erma uses a saw to cut Sonic from the ice, and Sonic asks to be loaded
in the catapult. He is launched toward the tower and lands on Robotnik,
freeing him from the ice. Sonic then destroys the machine, ending
the blizzard.
Later, the Arctic Mobians get in Snively's vehicle and leave for the
Arctic. They have gained the courage to stand up to danger.
Sonic jokes that they should all have a snowball fight.

The freedom fighters are exploring a mountain, but Sonic has sprained
his ankle. Rotor uses a device to see that Robotnik is coming.
Everybody is exhausted, and Bunnie finds something blocking their path.
Meanwhile, Robotnik uses his Robobus to quickly head up the mountain.
At the same time, the freedom fighters discover that the thing in their
path is actually a fort, most likely built by Sally's ancestors. The
fort would not last if Robotnik attacked it. Antoine spots a cannon,
but Rotor says that it won't work. Tails discovers a blacksmith's workshop.
Meanwhile, Bunnie locks the front gates and says she wishes they were all
robots--then they would have a fighting chance against Robotnik.
Sonic comes up with a plan and tells Rotor to be a blacksmith.
Soon the Robobus smashes through the fort's gates. Bunnie appears in a metal
suit constructed from metal in the fort. Robotnik orders the swatbots
to fight, but they are quickly destroyed by Bunnie. She then runs to a corner
and realizes that she is trapped. As the Robobus speeds toward her, Bunnie
extends her legs so that the bus runs underneath her legs. The bus races
down the mountain, unable to stop. The freedom fighters congratulate Bunnie
on her success.
