Sleuth Dawggy-Dawg and Kicks-A-Lot
(two dogs) are disguised as swatbots. They spray-paint a message in code
on a wall. Soon Sonic speeds toward the area.
Part I:
Sonic looks at the code but soon is caught by swatbots. He runs
to the escape, but accidentally runs into a swatbot. When Sonic comes
to, he is strapped to a table. Robotnik is excited over Sonic's capture.
Suddenly Sonic says he doesn't know who he is. Snively believes that
Sonic is lying, but Robotnik says that Sonic wouldn't fake any weakness.
Robotnik asks Sonic if he remembers his name, but Sonic says he remembers
nothing. Robotnik is shocked and asks if Sonic remembers him, who
is his mentor and advisor. Sonic apologizes and says he doesn't remember
Robotnik. Robotnik assures him that everything will be fine and starts
to think of a plan.
Part II:
Sonic fights robot duplicates of the freedom fighters that were useless when dealing
with Sally (see Princess Sally mini-series #3). Robotnik
says that it's time for Sonic to locate Knothole, observe the terrorist group
led by the evil Princess Sally, and learn their plans. Sonic begins to runs
toward Knothole while Robotnik watches his progress via a homing device.
Robotnik has a set of demolition tractors that will destroy Knothole when Sonic
reaches the location. Meanwhile, Sonic sees a tree stump that looks familiar.
He opens the top and discovers the secret passageway, wishing that his Cousin
Ivo could see how he is doing. Robotnik has finally discovered the secret
entrance to Knothole.
Part III:
Rotor is shocked that Sonic is speeding through the tunnels and setting
off all alarms of the new security system. Sally asks if it is really
Sonic, and Rotor says that scans show that it is Sonic but with a device
attached to him. Even though Sonic may not be aware of the device, Sally
tells Rotor to shut off the tunnel. Sonic is blocked by a door before
he can slide under it. Knowing that a demolition tractor is right outside
of the secret entrance, Robotnik contacts Sonic through a transmitter.
Robotnik tells Sonic to raise his left fist and use his right hand to press
on a pad on his glove. A hand-laser destroys the door and Sonic speeds
through the hole. Rotor says that Sonic is armed and dangerous.
Sally tells Rotor to take any action to stop Sonic, even though he used
to be a friend. Sonic comes to three tunnels and chooses one.
Sally commands Rotor to flood the tunnels and Sonic soon becomes trapped.
Part IV:
Sonic jumps and uses a supersonic spin to tunnel upwards. Robotnik
finds himself cheering for Sonic as the monitors show nothing. Soon
Sonic makes it to the surface, gasping for air. Sonic decides to
keep going straight as Robotnik tells Snively to reprogram the demolition
tractors to follow Sonic. Meanwhile, Rotor notices a security breach
and sounds an alarm. Sonic speeds through the huts and the citizens
of Knothole. Rotor reports that Sonic has broken through the barricades
as Sonic appears at the door.
