Part I:
While searching for medicinal berries, Sonic finds ants in his shoes.  He recognizes them as being Rotor's pets and returns them.  Robotnik appears from the bushes with a portable roboticizer.  After missing Sonic, Robotnik aims at Rotor.  Before Sonic can rescue Rotor, everyone in the area is sucked up by a giant tube.  Once they land on solid ground, Robotnik tries to escape.  A metal hand blocks Robotnik and a large metallic creature appears.

Part II:
The creature introduces himself as Car-heem of the planet Weeet, who decided to collect and study creatures from Mobius.  Robotnik demands to be released, which causes Car-heem to deem Robotnik inferior.  Car-heem thinks about disposing of Robotnik, but Sonic convinces him that Robotnik is a freedom fighter.  Accepting Sonic's words, Car-heem places everyone in an observation tank that looks like the Great Forest.  Sonic tries escaping by doing a Sonic-spin, but it doesn't work.  Rotor says that they're trapped like one of his ants.

Days later, Sally scolds Robotnik for not helping out with the work.  Sonic says that Car-heem will be suspicious if Robotnik doesn't act like a freedom fighter.  In order to redeem himself, Robotnik forces himself to take the freedom fighter oath.

Later that night, Sonic talks to Rotor about his ant collecting.  Rotor watches ants because they're interesting.  So, if the freedom fighters stop doing anything interesting, that would force Car-heem to open the tank and look at them.  Robotnik joins in, saying that he could help them escape.  Sonic doesn't think he can trust Robotnik, but Robotnik reminds him that he did take the freedom fighter oath.

Part III:
Sonic pretends to be dead.  Car-heem opens the lid to the tank and sticks his arm inside.  Sonic runs up his sleeve and runs around inside of Car-heem's uniform.  Meanwhile, Robotnik and the freedom fighters escape using a homemade helicopter.  Robotnik flies everyone up to the control panel and opens a hatch, which sucks Car-heem and Sonic into outer space.  After Robotnik shuts the hatch, Sally and Tails are furious.  They hold Robotnik and Snively down while Rotor uses the tube that sucked everyone onto the spaceship.

Later Car-heem decides that he should release the freedom fighters, learning that he was inferior for the way he treated species different from his own species.  Shortly after returning, Rotor releases all of his ants.  Rotor is proud of himself, but Sally, Sonic, and Tails can't stop scratching themselves.

Letters:  Bill Yoshida

Antoine finds Tails sitting down outside.  Tails explains that Sonic gave him a power ring, but he lost it.  Antoine volunteers to get the ring for Tails.  Tails tells Antoine that the ring is in Robotropolis.  Antoine is shocked, but he pretends he is brave and asks Tails to draw him a map.  Bunnie walks outside, complaining about all of the noise.  Tails explains to her that Antoine is going to Robotropolis all by himself.  When Tails turns around, Bunnie is gone.

In Robotropolis, Antoine emerges from a manhole and looks around.  A car heads for him, and a beam of iron is thrown behind Antoine.  The car hits the beam and crashes just as Antoine goes back into the sewer.  Later, Antoine sees the building where Tails left the ring.  He climbs up the ladder.  Just as he reaches the top, swatbots begin climbing the ladder.  The ladder falls off the wall and a mysterious rabbit shadow looks over the swatbots.  Antoine eventually makes his way to a stream of toxic ooze.  A metal pipe bridges the gap, so he climbs inside to reach the other side.  Robotnik and Snively fly toward the pipe, but the pipe moves so that they crash in the ooze.

Antoine returns to Knothole, and Tails is relieved.  Antoine says that he was foolish to go by himself and that Tails should never do that or tell anybody about what Antoine what he did.  Tails says it will be their secret and flies away.  Antoine turns to Bunnie, thanks her for their secret, and gives her a kiss.
