| My Vacation Tuesday |
| Since I like to exaggerate a lot on things, I decided to make a really long version of my vacation and I decided to make each day a separate page because there is so much to talk about! I was even surprised at how much I got out of this, it's really amazing what you can think of when you are just writing down everything. Well enjoy and I won't be disappointed if you only get through a couple days because it is really long! |

| I woke up around 10 am again on Tuesday in the bed my dad was staying in. Steph was sleeping so I went downstairs and had some breakfast and then I changed and headed outside to where Emily and Nicole were sitting. I don't remember much that happened Tuesday except the night time events. That's about it. So I'll just go straight to that. It was around like seven or so when I decided to get changed into my fire clothes. Grandma, Dee, Jeannie and Ron had gone out to eat somewhere and they told us if it started to rain we should come back inside. Well I was in my Anoka hoodie and my blue jeans that button up without a zipper and we were hanging out on the playground platform when Steph and everyone else decided to go for a walk. So I'm like sure why not and so we were heading up the hill and I turned around and Matt was walking the same way. I'm like damn, I know exactly what he's going to go do!! So then we're still walking and no one has really realized he's there yet until we get past the garage with the wood by it. Everyone was scared to see him, they were like oh my god you scared me and stuff. It was kind of funny really. So then we were walking down this one path and the sewer smell was so bad!! I couldn't stand it so I was like ok I'm going to be right back and I decided to walk back in the direction of our cabin. Well I got back to the main path and turned around and everyone was following me back. I was like jeez, that didn't work but oh well. So they met up with me and I was like, you know I really don't have to go to the bathroom so I walked towards the main highway and started waving to the people passing by. It was really funny and we had a couple cars honk and then we had a semi-truck honk at us but his horn was so weak! But like before we were standing by the road, we were standing just before the bike path and everyone was looking at Matt, who was sitting a ways down the bike path, and they kept pestering me to go say hi to him. They were like he's lonely, go talk to him and I was like he's doing just fine, he doesn't need me there. I saw him light his Chillum or whatever and the flame was fricking huge and I just prayed that no one else in the group saw that. I don't think they did though but oh wow it was major bright! Like he was a half a football field away from us and the flame was like a softball size flame from where we were. So then I really had to go to the bathroom so I walked back to the cabin and went to the bathroom and then started walking back up to the path to see if Matt was there, but he had left so I took an extra stroll down side paths and then came back down by way of the hill and walked towards the docks. Everyone was at Emily's cabin and so when they saw me, they were like aren't you going to join us or whatever? I was like I'll be there in a while. So then I went and sat on the swimming dock, just listening to my radio and letting my glasses defog and shit and watching the sky. I heard someone sit down on the wooden swing and I had a funny feeling it was Matt but I didn't want to turn around to find out. So then finally my glasses stopped fogging up when I wore them so that meant it was time to go hang out with the crew. As I was walking back on the dock, I was kind of scoping out the swing and it was Matt, so I sat down and was talking to him for a little while, about an hour maybe. Again I was encountered with another pat from Matt. This time it was to how I was the center of attention for my group and he's like poor Cassie, the center of attention. Which I didn't really mind the attention much because it's really the only time I get attention but sometimes I just wanted to walk around alone and they always pestered me by asking where I was going. Then I was reunited with my group and Matt decided to go for a walk and so they all sat down and were like what were you guys talking about and blah blah and stuff and I was just like we were talking about his friends and stuff. Nothing big really. I was starting to get a headache too so I was like twisting my body to get in a comfortable position but then Steph kept swinging the swing back and forth so I grabbed a chair and sat down on that instead. Then Matt came back and pulled a chair up in between me and Nicole and then he left again. Everyone was getting annoyed by him coming and going except me, it didn't bother me at all. Then it was like 12:30 and I was like just getting annoyed listening to everyone talking so I told them I was going to bed and I started for my cabin. I got to the end of Matt's cabin's driveway when Matt was like where are you off to? I was like I'm going to bed because I'm tired and I'm sick of listening to them talk. So he laughs a little and walks me to my cabin and then I told him we'll hang out tomorrow during the fire and he's like ok cool. Like he was really looking forward to it. So then I went up to my cabin and ate some snacks before heading off to bed. I didn't go to bed until Steph and Nick came back and they came back around like 1 so then we all trudged off to bed and I woke up around like 10 or so on Wednesday morning. |
