| My Vacation Thursday |
| Since I like to exaggerate a lot on things, I decided to make a really long version of my vacation and I decided to make each day a separate day because there is so much to talk about! I was even surprised at how much I got out of this, it's really amazing what you can think of when you are just writing down everything. Well enjoy and I won't be disappointed if you only get through a couple days because it is really long! |

| I was the first one up on Thursday morning around 10 am. I turned on the television and watched a little bit of Price Is Right. Grandma and Dee were getting ready to go into town to get their hair done and to wash some clothes and sheets. I told them I didn't need any clothes washed and so Steph and Nick woke up and gave them some clothes and stuff. Steph started getting ready because she wanted to go with but me and Nick didn't. So around noon they finally headed into town and Nick and I walked over to Emily's cabin and grabbed the movie Riding in Cars with Boys and watched that until about 2. It was about 1:30 when Grandma and Dee dropped Steph off and went back to get their hair done. She watched the last half hour of the movie and then we returned it. Then it was like 2 so we played some card games and watched more TV. Around 3:30 or so, Nick and I had headed full fledged into a game of War with two decks. We played until four o'clock and it was good timing too, because that was when Jim, Clare and Nick Z. arrived. As soon as Nick Z. arrived, Nick and him got super hyper and started running around in the cabin. Then they took their excitement outside where they put it to use by helping Jim get the boat ready for us to go wakeboarding and knee boarding. We took the inner tube for good measures. So we got all that hooked up and Nick was the first one to go wakeboarding. He did really good for his first time up; he lasted quite a while anyway. Then Steph took a turn at it and she went around the Ten Mile Lake twice. Now mind you, it wasn't big lake, we didn't take her near there. There's two parts to Ten Mile, there's the calm, peaceful small lake and then there's the rough, choppy big lake. Happiness Resort is on the calmer side and Steph went around that twice, which was totally amazing. We were so proud of her and I got a few pictures of her too. Then it was Nick Z.'s turn to try and kneeboard. He wanted to wakeboard but his feet wouldn't fit into the boots on the wakeboard. So we got him situated and he tried like three or four times and got up a couple times but then he decided to stop. Then Steph decided to kneeboard and she did ok. She was pretty worn out after wakeboarding though. Then we went back to the dock and docked the boat. After about ten minutes, Clare, Jim, Steph, Nick Z., Nick and I all went over to Sandy Beach which is on Big Lake for like an hour. It was fun swimming but the water was colder than usual so I didn't stay in very long. After that we drove to the rock pier(as I call it) and looked at all the rocks. Nick Z., Nick, Jim and Steph all went in the water to pick out some crazy funky rocks for their rock garden. The rocks were all slimy and gross so I didn't go in and I just laughed at the faces Nick Z. and Steph kept making when they walked over the rocks. Then we went back over to an area right along side Sandy Beach and we had to instantly slow down. Like it was 25 mph to a coast within seconds, literally. We didn't realize how huge the rocks were going to be! Some were bigger than the boat and they were just huge! We saw a ton of fish too, which was really neat. There were quite a few, at least thirty to forty just hanging around the rocks in schools. While we were there, a boat came flying by and we were waving to them to get them to stop because if they were to hit the engine on a rock, the 10+ people that were in there, would have went flying! They never hit a rock, thank goodness, and they made it through safely without knowing what the heck we were trying to tell them. I think it was around 7 or so that we started cooking dinner. We had hot dogs and hamburgers and I had a hot dog and a half a hamburger. They were really good and I must have been hungry because that was the most I had eaten all week. So then around 8, Steph, Nick, and Nick Z. were already down at the swings and stuff and so I joined them reluctantly. The fire just didn't sound appealing that night and when it got going, Nick Z. and Nick were really hyper. I asked Steph if she wanted to go for a walk and so we did and we walked towards the dock that was down shoreline from our cabins. Well when we got there, Matt was there and I felt really awkward. He saw us so there was no way we could just turn around and leave again without him being suspicious so we just walked to the end and sat down for a few minutes and then we left again. I walked around a lot that night. I went from the cabin to the fire and the fire to the cabin so many times. I know that Steph, Emily, Nicole and Renee did a four person pushup that resulted in everyone getting wet and someone farting. Grandma and Jim had gone out to the casino and Dee and Clare were in the cabin talking. I came in and asked if we could all stay out until 1:30 since it was Nick, Nick Z. and Steph's last night up at the lake. Clare said it was fine so I went back and told the rest of the gang. They were all happy and I was continually heading down the drained path. Around 1:15 I decided to head in and while Clare, Dee and I were waiting for Steph, Nick and Nick Z. we just talked about different stuff. By 1:30, they hadn't come in yet but I told Clare not to worry, but it wasn't fair to her that I asked her if they could stay out later and they didn't come in when they were supposed too. They finally came in and we all went to bed. I woke up around like 10 when my cousins had to leave. |
