About - Career in meteorology and hydrology

If you are a girl or a boy interested in in nature and science, meteorology and hydrology might be the career of choice. Read the 'A Career in Meteorology and then some!' article by Ms. Kathy-Ann Caesar.

A word of encouragement for all girls: while the great majority might still be men,  there are increasing number of women working in different fields of science. The women working in the meteorology and hydrology in the Caribbean have founded a special support network dedicated in helping women in their career pursuit. The Participation of women is not only a question of equality. At best, women can bring a gender-aware point of view to science and in the services provided by the met services.
