The Learning Center on Caribbean Weather and Climate, Cawedu.net is designed for a wide range of users. The bulk of the material will be found useful from the secondary school level upwards. 

FUNDAMENTALS

The general, fundamental phenomena that create weather and climate are explained. These include atmospheric composition, solar radiation, wind and cloud formation, hydrological cycle, etc. 

CARIBBEAN CLIMATE

The characteristics of the Caribbean climate are presented and the climate change issues are dealt with from the Caribbean point of view.

CARIBBEAN WEATHER

Weather phenomena typical of the Caribbean are presented and described, weather observations explained and forecasting of weather outlined.

WEATHER AND SOCIETY

Weather and climate set out in relation to a wide range of issues such as disaster preparedness, aviation, tourism, health, and agriculture.

SCHOOLS

Learning projects in the Caribbean are presented alongside with tips and resources for teachers.
