Wong Yuan Shun "Wong"

Personal Description

Here is another of my long "old" friends from secondary school days. I must mention beforehand that Wong's character and mine are total polar opposite, it simply shows that anything can happen in this world be it miracle or tragedy.

Back in Woodlands days I nearly always stayed back after school to either play soccer or do nothing (just staying back for the sake of staying). In those days nearly everyone in the senior years know everyone by sight and may even be friends (not close ones). So its often that a group of guys containing people from different classes may play soccer together. Then I usually played with Jun Jie, Geeks, Eugene (the mad man), etc. in the P.E Shed. Wong is in the same class as Geek back then (4F) and I can tell you my first impression of him is his a ***************** (yes you can fill in your own description cause I maybe found floating facedown in the Johor Straits if I fill it in). If Geek is snoobish well theres no word to describe Wong already, he could just piss me off everyday not to mention my temper back then its a miracle I have never fought with him before.

So you may start wondering if I hate such an *************** how can he appear here. Well I'm here to tell you about a miracle. Back then when we graduated we are still friends, though I will consider him as a friend of my friend (Geeks). Then there is a rumour that this guy got a girlfriend, it turn out to be true. To cut it short I will not desrcibe her and also due to the reason above I will not say anything that happened between them. The girl made him changed, well Geeks and I got parts of the credit, but the main reason is still her. He became better with his words and actions not pissing everyone off at every turn, he become more considerate (Geeks and I still believe that this apply to girls only), he understand what is called sturbborn and became willing to accept other people's views (also to girls only), he become more socialable, more willing to die for friends (err maybe not). In general you can say he turn for the better. There is also the case when Geeks went to Germany for six months and it is then we really can be called friends.

Wong has many "good" points if you count those that the person himself claims thats alot, to me well its better to add them else I got nothing to add here. First of his "good" points is his strength in English language. This guy claims that his english is better then most people or maybe me only. He likes to correct other people's english especially when they are speaking halfway. He also like to debate with me about the pronounciation and spelling of certain english words. Well want to know what is his 'O' Level results for english? B4 and what about mine? no not C6 is B3. Yes B4 correcting a B3 well strange isn't it? (No doubt he will find more english mistakes in my site and make sure I know of them).

Another of his "good" points is his ability to give advice, though the advices may not be the best around they give you a good way to start. It also give you a chance to identify bad ideas too so you may avoid them ;p.

Of all his "good" points the ability to make friends is one of his best. Hmm anti-social and ability to make friends? What you talking about? Well he is good at making friends with girls, but theres a catch there - over the internet. Yes he is one of those wolves in so many advertisements nowadays. But I really admire his way with the girls that can get them to go out with him. Hahaha you may not know but he maybe prowling in the irc channel you are in now or the annomous icq messenger.

Wong is a talented person, he has the ability to either insult you till you feel totally pissed or he can keep speaking when he is proving his point so that you can not express your own idea in contrast. I call this "qiang zi duo li" (stubborn not willing to admit his wrong, even if his wrong refuse to face it). Yes lament all you want its the hard cold truth Wong, you may say you say it to me cause I'm a good friend of yous, yes I know but if it becomes a bad habit you may just speak out loud without thinking twice and if the person happens to be one that cannot take it like I do, you will have trouble.

The last thing I wanted to say about this guy is he likes to interrupt people when they are talking. Like when someone is talking about a certain topic he will just come in interrupt halfway and starts speaking of another topic. The prime victim is "Tat" and I too have suffered under it, come on Wong you know its rude to do this we as your friend can take it, but I doubt many people will like to have their conversations cut off short everytime by you.

Even this guy has taught me a thing or two. First he taught me to appreciate everyone as they come (though not everyone) even with their short comings accept them. Second if Geek is the one who increase my mercifulness for poor souls, Wong is responsible for increasing my tolerance for all kinds of insults and banter.

Overall, even with all his shortcomings and bad points he is a great friend to have compared to many so called "perfect" people out there that hang their masks up all the time which I personally feel disgusting.
