The Founding
Life has been very boring and stale for me after graduation from Ngee
Ann Poly around August 2002, thus sometime during December 2002 an idea
came over me, that is the revival of Siao's Eden.
The Start
Of course with the revival I will have to put up some new contents,
after some serious thinking the original crappy contents are ruled out,
instead I decided to try my hand in a personal site after seeing so
many out there.
The Aim
What is the aim of my site, from the start I have already decided that
it does not need to be just some daily bloq or diary or whatever, so
I need to come up with some original stuff and this got me thinking.
I constantly find myself lamanting about the good old days, but when
I tried to recall the events I found that many of my memories are lost
or tend to contain holes. Thus the idea stuck and I decided to make
a site that will contain just about everything about me (well not really
everything) and my memories, friends, etc....
Creation Process
So I shifted my aim to created the site, well I need contents and tools
to do the job. As always I am slow in starting anything new. Though
I started notepads (my favourite Windows program) that contain the information
for my site.
At first I think I don't really need a very good looking GUI and just
make some simple and unified look. Next is the pages creation, well
it takes quite some time before I really get into the habit of page
creation.
From then on everything is just plain easy, using a single template
I can create alot of pages. Though it is true that creation is easy
making the contents in actual truth its quite hard especially the writing
part and whenever there is any updates I need to change the whole site
and it takes alot of effort. Thus most of my stuff can be considered
outdated, though they have never been new in the first place, added
in with my usual slowness in doing anything serious it really crawls
along.
As things goes along look of my site gradually evolves till its current
state from the simple look. Along the way new stuff are added in to
add content while others are taken out when I realise its just too lame
to really do it or just too hard.
Disclaimer
From the start I know that some of the things that I put in here may
get me killed (things and secrets I say out), but this is what this
site is all about, what I say is the truth or what I think and feel
is the truth. So if you want to kill me ... just too bad about it its
my site.
Remember this site is built upon personal interests and will never
have the pretension of a professional web site, so don't whine here
and there about every other thing, cause you will not accomplise anything
. :) .
Inside you will find MANY grammer, spelling and dates mistakes, many
are intentional to either make you laugh or just for fun of it, for
the rest please forgive me for my low English standards..
Lastly
This site is only for entertainment and personal interests so don't
take it too hard when you see anything I posted or posted about you
that you don't like. As I always say:
"Life is a big bad joke on you,
Take it easy and laugh with it."
Get it? Just remember to leave a message at the guestbook when you
are leaving, you don't understand how happy a creator is when someone
comments on it good or bad as long as its true. Of course suggestions
are welcomed from anyone but don't suggest things like 3D animation
and stuff like that, because if I really do that it will take forever
for this site to be considered up to date.
