To say the truth although I have known
lao da for 5 years, I am still finding new things about him.
Hmmm whats the first encounter like? Two words: Nothing drastic. But
it only makes the later discovery all the more stunting and amazing.
After the first day at school, we all decided to go out to eat and went
to the nearest shopping center (West Mall). We went to BK and sat down
to talk, all the way lao da is VERY quiet. I was thinking to myself
this guy is gonna be "boring" and his look is totally "nerdy".
Man am I wrong, after 1 - 2 months things started to change. At first
its slow a joke or two, then one day all hell break loose and he cock
like never before stunting everyone. I think it started from Kai cause
from that day on we called Kim Suah lao da (Big Boss), because no one
can outcock him..
The most deep impression thing about laoda for me is his cockness.
Kai's cock is a more natural jokingly type of cock, while laoda's cock
is full of cockness all the way coupled with his looks and description
you can really laugh the hell out of you. Once during the final year
he even went a wrote a cock song!!! I have forgotten about it already,
hopefully he can give me the lyrics when he see this and I will post
up to let you all see the cockness of it. Just being beside him can
bring the cockness from you (wenjie) and your life will be full of laughter.
Another thing that left a deep impression on me is his attitude towards
accomplishing group projects. What I can say is he is a good leader
and planner, full of good ideas and wacky ideas and he is also a good
presenter able to convey his message across to you strongly (though
he need some pointers on how to wear formally). The one thing is our
proneness to argue, in our history of projects - MMF: Adventures of
Treesie, MID: Sex Education, IF: PCTeenZ, C&I: Presentation. I believe
I always argued with him (as Fu Kai can prove) and when I say argue
I don't mean a simple argument over a difference of view points but
it is a rather heated debate over the directions of the project. Either
because of certain ideas of his or just to make him hear my voice. There
we have one of his bad points, lao da is the kind that strongly believe
in his own ideas and will do anything to get you to see it either the
easy way or the hard way suggestions (he take some but not all), maybe
that is needed for a team leader to focus a project. To point out the
truth some of the projects we did together are some of the best and
my favourites, Adventures of Treesie is my favourite and best done project
to date, I will not be lying when I say that it is one of my most hardworking
piece with the exception of my FYP, but alas we lost it after forgotting
to store it up and my HDD died on me. I will never forgot the lame voice
acting of lao da, Wen Jie getting pissed with us for playing CS (lol),
Kai's super detail flash movies and me looking into the "Kui Hua
Bao Dian" (help file on Authorware 8) to try to do games with Authorware
which is never taught by the teacher. Arh those were the days.
Another of laoda's strong point is his boldness, if he has decided
to do something he will go ahead to do it no matter how embaressing
it may be. That also means in his love matters. This guy is one pro
when it comes to going after a girl. Imagine this he has only saw this
girl for 2 times at most and the rest of the time through IRC and he
is able to win her heart! Not to mention able to hold it for so long,
his still holding on with his skills and I must say his seriousness
in it is true. Anyway he never let us near "Da Sao" (affection
name for friend's wife/girlfriend), I think he is just afraid that we
will spill his bad things to her, lol, lao da "jia you".
There is only one thing I don't really approve of, that is his way
he treat people. Although I agree that you should not show some of your
face to other people, but he really go all the way to not let us meet
his girlfriend (I think for fear of us of telling her his bad stuff).
Maybe he should have a little trust with us, we won't really throw everything
bad about him out, well I won't anyway.
One thing about lao da that he should really take care of is the way
he eats, I believe you have a good view of it above on the "Merlion"
story. There is one more story, its in the 2nd
sem and before canteen 3 is renovated when the western food stall still
taste good. The chicken chop is so good that lao da went for a second
helping (to copy Jia Hong) but found that he cannot finished it. So
he eat for a very long time, so long that its almost lesson time. As
he is not one to waste food he starts to stuff food into his mouth,
then he took the bun when he cannot stuff it in. When we reached the
elevators some how he managed to find a space and started to squeeze
the bun in. Think of it like trying to stuff a bun into a hole the size
of a 1 cent coin. To my amazement he managed it!! But for goodness sake
please don't do it again, its not very good sight to let other people
see.
Another of our "games" began with lao
da's love of playing with food, back then there is a variety show that
featured a game called "Shui Lai Wan Cang" (Who come dinner),
where all the food will be mixed and people will start counting numbers
and the person who hits the desinated number will be forced to eat it.
:) its fun till your the one who got hit.
Thats about it, Lao Da is the kind that can make
a good friend, one that can brighten up your day with his cockness.
Though when it comes to project stay away from him if your like me who
like to have my ideas heard, because you will just end up in a heated
debate, as Kai point out we must alway have one big argument before
we can really start on any projects. |
