I have only known Fu Kai for a short time
(5 years), but he can be counted as one of my best friend around.
Since the very first day of knowing this guy (myself) he is nothing
but a joker and a natural born cocker. Standing beside him, talking
to him or doing things with him will show another side of me that I
have never know existed. You can say he bring out the worse in me, hahaha,
forgot about the cold jokes I always say, put aside the vulgarities
I learn from him, the bad habits I catch from him and the porn materials
I gotten from him (LOL ;p), this guy actually make me blurer and make
plenty of mistakes when doing simple things. There is one incident which
I remember (I think he also remember) till this day, that is the first
class of poly (different from first day) and this guy is sitting beside
me. As a friendly person and one who like to make friends, I talked
to him. Well usually I would introduce myself and talk about anything
possible, but I actually talked to him about Gamespot.com and Amazon.com
(websites) and the whole conversation is nothing but lame, lame, lame
and lame (yes even I myself think so!!!). I sure the hell am not sure
what I am doing its as if I am in a trance. (Arh Kai keep the opinion
to yourself I know what your gonna say liao).
Personally, I think the biggest advantage Fu Kai has is his ability
to make new friends, you can go ask around in ITCS graduate class of
2002 and most probably they will know who is Fu Kai (except the pretty
girls of course, he lose this ability when the target is a "chio
bu"). He can easily mix with strangers in one minute and by the
next he will be talking cock with them like they are old friends. Of
course this ability also inhabit his ability to find a girlfriend (There's
always a reasoning, if your popular with the guys your not popular with
the girls, and vice versa).
Another thing I noitced is his way of life. He never went out to imitate
other people and idols, like acting cool, strange hair-cuts (though
he sometimes got a few, next time cut botak don't wear hat lah). What
I think of his way of life is: I live the way I live. (I tend to have
alot of this kind of friends). Though there are times when this is not
true, that is when his at home. When his home your not supposed to talk
with any vulgarities, when I say any I mean ALL. There is once when
I went over to his place to do project and you can really see the difference
in him (maybe thats the other side of him), anyway the whole night I
managed to not blurt out a single vulgarity (though once theres half).
That is also why he has never invited us to his house before, because
of his concern of him blurting out a vulgarity since he has a bad habit
of doing it around us (especially around Wen Jie and Lao Da).
Most of the people out there that know him, only see the surface of
him, the one who jokes everyday and makes everyone laugh. There's also
another side of Fu Kai that many people may not know, that is his softer
side. I'm not trying to say that his "Gu Niang" (Girl-Like)
or what, but that he has a different face that many people have never
seen before. Even I myself have only see this face occasionally. This
face is one of sorrow, sadness, tiredness and loneliness. I'm not gonna
elaborate if you wish to know more go pester the person in question.
The two most important thing that he affected me is his ability to
use simple solutions to solve difficult problems and his directness.
I'm the kind of person who think alot, when I say think alot what I
mean is when a problem crops up I can spend alot of time thinking about
it - walking, riding on the bus,or just simply stand there looking at
nothing. During these thinking sessions, many scenarios and solutions
will appear, you may think the more the merrier but it isn't so. This
guy can then come up with a totally simple solution (most of the time
I also had the same solution) that can solve the problem (though not
most of the time).
His directness is also one thing that I admire, if theres something
he think you should change or one thing he think you shouldn't do, he
won't hesitate to tell you about it and will usually couple it with
the neccesarry solutions (though there are times they backfire, like
the incident mentioned above).
In conclusion, Fu Kai will bring laughter into your life, help you
solve your problems, bring out the blurness in you and change you, all
in all he is as good a friend one can get. |
