After knowing this guy for 7 years, what do I know about
him? Hmm to say the truth not much.
The incident that made us good friend can be said accidental or luck
(unlucky can be used depending on how you look at it). I'm in Secondary
3 somehow I made it past Sec 2 and there I am in this new class with
few friends around, but two of my friends from previous classes (Jun
Jie & Kenneth) are also in my class. During our first Physics lab
class we need to form 4 man teams (for each lab table), since we were
already 3 we needed one more person to form a group and seeing the nerd
(Tat) who had the look of a easily bullied person we decided to call
him to join our group, thus the friendship begans.
This guy is quite a rare find among my good friends, because most
of the time I usually know them quite well (one way or another) but
this guy is like a mystery to me (yes stop grinning my friend this is
an insult). I haven't really seen him since secondary school days (he
sort of disappear) after that his NS days (where his as solid as thin
air). His handphone seems to be an extra accessory since you can never
get through, when you get through its an extra hope since all you will
do is get into his voice mail and in the rare (real rare) event that
you managed to get through chances are (9 in 10) that he is not free.
It is only recently when his time in NS is nearing the end did I really
see him alot. And most of the time he just sit/stand/squatt/lie there
and not really contributing to my understanding of this incredible person.
Although I don't really know him but there's one thing that is very
prominent about this guy its his ability to zone out. Remember I mentioned
that Geeks tend to zone out? Well this guy can be referred to be the
"King of the Zone-Outs" (yes this is another insult). Sometimes
we may start talking about something for example 1.0 followed by 1.1
etc.. 2 - 3 minutes later he may pop out a joke or question regarding
1.1 when we are at 1.10!!! Another way is whenever you call him, he
will look at you and ..... nothing, when you call him again he still
looks at you with that dazed look that really invites you to punch him
in the face. He still got one last stunt, sometimes he seems to be on
the wrong frequency and when I say wrong frequency it means he really
lost the whole channel. For example , we are talking about the engine
of a certain car, yet this guy may think that we are talking about the
cost of the car and still continue thinking about the costs and if he
also slow (first case) 5 mins later he may ask something about the cost
of the car and we all lost him. Sometimes this bad habit of his nearly
ended his life (in several painful ways)
Another thing about him is his nerd look. There are times when he will
give you this look that have this words painted on his face "Come
Bully Me". Hahaha maybe his sadistic (no thats Geeks) or just plain
stupid, I don't really know but he just like to sit there and be the
dart board. I mention before that Wong like to make fun of me (because
I let him) well when this guy appears he have no time for me because
the rest of us are busily bullying him.
So your asking is this guy really that bad? I mean all of us should
have some redeeming attributes .. right? Well lucky for this guy there
are some. Although he may sometimes disconnect himself from reality
and float in the strange mists of nothingness, he tend to be a funny
guy (when his with reality). He can crack good jokes and nice stories
too (though his abit tight mouth about them).
He is also an intelligent and hardworking person, I remember during
Secondary school days he was usually the one who helped me with my homework.
This also bring up the point that he is helpful to other people.
All in all a nice, funny and crappy guy to know that is when his in
