Please let me know if you know of any other useful sites.
Enchanted Learning: this site has lots of resources. It's particularly good for geography and environmental stuff. It has flags for colouring in, maps, pictures and pages written in fairly simple English. There's also lot's of stuff about dinosaurs. Puzzlemaker.com: this site is useful for making puzzles(!) Word searches, crosswords, mazes, etc... There's also a clipart gallery. Edochan.com: teaching ideas from Tochigi JETs. The site also contains JETs' stories about living and travelling in Japan. Genki English: smashing ideas for livening up lessons with games and songs. Mainly directed at primary school, but can always be adapted. Also contains 101 Cool Things you can do as a JET. Contains some excellent ideas. The Stew 2002: Yamagata ALTs' very own teaching ideas from the Tendo Conference October 2002, now online (mostly). English Dictionary: I often find I need this because of the rate at which I forget English! Acivity Village: some printable sheets for primary school kids, though some could be used in English lessons for simple stuff or revision. ABC Teach: loads of printable sheets, though you need to sign up to use this site. |
