In addition to meeting several of the Pennsylvania State Standards, this

WebQuest engages students in critical thinking and problem solving as they

move from one literary genre to another and as they pull their resources

together to write their articles.  This unit also engages students in creative

production because they have the opportunity to choose from scenes in

Macbeth that they were most interested in and have the chance to share

their resources before writing their individual articles.  The group work

fosters teamwork and compromise.
