• INTRODUCTION

The Tragedy of Macbeth WebQuest was developed as part of the Internet for Teachers course I took with Raymond S. Pastore, Ph.D. at Bloomsburg University in the summer of 2004. While enrolled in the Curriculum and Instruction MA program, I also learned that I would be instructing Macbeth during my student teaching, so I decided I would like to develop a WebQuest to address this particular unit.

Although Macbeth is a well-known Shakespearean play, I found its format a spectacular way to introduce students to the Internet and to the key components of journalism while simultaneously promoting cooperative learning and responsibility.
