I constantly find myself saying things like, "Never in my life did I ever imagine I'd be doing this." 'This' varies from living in a shack to walking a quarter of a mile to eat to witnessing excitement as somebody purchased Twinkies online.

I have another 'this' to add. Never in my life did I ever imagine I'd be having a battle of wits with mice. In trying to get rid of these mice, my life has taken a turn for the worse.

Only it's not so bad, because I've already been through so much. It almost seems odd to care that a mouse roams my home. I've lived with ninja scorpions, mutant camel spiders, and killer mosquitos; why would a simple mouse bother me?
