What is a campaign

For those new to wargaming, a campaign is a series of linked battles or scenarios played out to form a story much like a tv series or a movie.
The scenarios in a campaign can be played either as individual pieces or in sequence to follow the story of E Company.

The Scenarios

Day of Days
June 6th, 1944 E Company, along with the rest of the 506th PIR has parachuted into France as part of the massive Allied invasion of German occupied France. Easy's first mission is to assault a battery of German 105mm howitzers shelling Utah Beach.

Carentan Pt 1
June 7th, 1944 The D-Day landing was a success for the Allies. Now the men are ashore safely it is up to E Company to take the French town of Carentan from the Germans stationed there in order for the forces on Utah and Omaha to be able to safely link up for a combined assault of the hinterland.

Carentan Pt 2
Now Carentan is in the hands of the Allied forces it has to be defended against the inevitable German counter-attack. Unlike last time, the Airborne forces are taking the battle to the German forces out in the hedgerows of Occupied France.

Hell's Highway
Operation Overlord was a success. Now that the Allies have a foothold in Europe, Allied Command has decided to risk a northern invasion of Germany from across the Rhine. The only catch is they have to get British XXX Corps Armoured Division along Hell's Highway through the centre of Holland, and the German Army!

Bastogne Pt 1
The Allied gambit at Arnhem failed and now the Germans are counter-attacking through the Ardennes Forest in Belgium. This could be spell disaster for the Allies if they aren't stopped. E Company has been assigned to the defence of the area, along with the rest of the 101st Airborne.

Bastogne Pt 2
The 101st Airborne have performed well, despite being surrounded and now that they have been met by Patton's Third Army are able to counter-attack against the Germans. The town selected for the main thrust: Foy.
