Scenario 3 - Carentan (Pt 2)
Setting
Now the Allies have taken Carentan it is more than likely the Germans will try to take it back. The town hold great tactical signifigance to both sides so everyone must do all they can to keep the town out of Jerry's hands.
Special Rules
The armoured elements of each side begin the game in reserve. Once the reserve roll succeeds all armoured elements may be bought onto the table from the corner to the respective players left, no more than 12"/30cm from the corner (like the Easy Company Deployment Area in the first scenario).
Your Orders
Easy Company
You must prevent the German Army from re-taking Carentan. Do everything in your power to halt them in their tracks.
German Army
You have been ordered to retake the strategic town of Carentan by High Command. In order to do this you will have to crush the Americans that lie in your path.
Preparing for Battle
Both sides deploy as for a normal Free-For-All battle (see page 158 of the Flames of War rulebook).
Terrain should be setup with matching rows of hedgerows, each 8"/20cm from the centre line of the table.
