Scenario 1 - Day of Days
The Allied invasion of Nazi occupied Europe, Operation Overlord has begun. Easy, along with the rest of the 101st Airborne have landed and are beginning to carry out their missions. Their first mission is to neutralise a German artillery battery pounding the Allied forces down on Utah beach. They only have a limited number of men with which to carry out the objective, so they will have to take care.
Special Rules
Trenches
The German artillery battery is connected by a well built trench network. Any team inside a trench is considered to be in bullet-proof cover unless they have double moved. Enemy teams that are in the same trench and in line of sight may fire upon them as normal.
Spiking the Guns
In order to destroy a howitzer, a team must be in the same bunker as the gun and make a successful skill check. Any team attempting to destroy a gun may not move but is able to shoot but with a +1 penalty to the score needed to hit. More than one team may attempt to destroy each gun per turn.
Reserves
The bulk of the German force begins the game in reserve. At the beginning of the game only the reduced strength Panzergrenadier Platoon and the Heavy Platoon begin the game on the table. The full strength Panzergrenadier team may enter during the battle using the normal rules for reserve platoons. Due to the scale of this game being different from normal, insead of rolling for the entire platoon each turn you roll to see if an individual squad is able to enter.
Small Scale Engagement
Due to the reduced size of this game, the normal Platoon coherencey rules do not apply.
Your Orders
Easy Company
You must destroy the four howitzers and kill as many Germans as they can. While it is only important that the guns are destroyed, killing as many Germans as possible will make the task considerably easier.
German Army
You must defend the howitzers at all costs. There are not many Americans, but they will be well protected as long as they are in the trenches.
Preparing for Battle
The terrain should be setup as detailed below:

Each of the 10.5 howitzer bunkers should be 12"/30cm away from one another, and the MG Nest should be 12"/30cm away from the corner of the Easy Company Deployment Area. The MG Nest does not count as being in bullet-proof cover and is considered separate from the rest of the trench network.
Both sides deploy as listed on the map. Additionally, the Germans are allowed to place one MG team in the MG Nest as marked on the map.
Easy Company gets the first turn.
Ending the Battle
The battle ends when Easy Company either successfully destroys all four 10.5 howitzers, or is destroyed.

Note: Even though Easy is assaulting an Artillery Battery, it plays no part in the actual fighting as it is busy shelling the Allies on Utah beach. Ignore the normal rules for assaulting a gun team.
