Next steps after porting and polishing

These are the next steps after the porting and polishing is completed.
a) Fill in the heat riser area.
b) Remove open area between the middle 2 exhaust ports, either by building up the divider or milling the entire exhaust face.
c) Cut for .5" valve seals.
d) Machine for bronze valve guides.
e) Deck the heads to desired CC volume.
f) Machine for bigger valves.
g) ETC...
One thing I did not plan on doing is removing the casting bumps on the outside surface of the head. but I did.
This was done to remove the surface rust and after I got going I could not stop. The results are in the pictures below.
The shiny lines you see in the rocker arm area, around the outside, is grinding that was done to improve oil flow back into the motor.
I removed the casting bumps to help the oil flow down to the return holes better.
