| To offer your bodies as living sacrifices This is your spiritual act Your heavenly pact The holiness and godliness The Caananites lacked Whoever has my commands And obeys my demands He's the one who loves me And that's a beautiful fact Living sacrifices Holy, pleasing devices Instruments of righteousness Whom Jesus entices Loved by the Father And loved by the Son Show yourself to me And let my heart come undone God-breathed scripture Inspire my soul Touch my lips with the coal By God's words make me whole That all day and all night I'll wrestle and fight For Jesus Christ to take control All scripure's inspired And given by the Lord And sharper than a warrior's Double-edged sword For reproof, correction And righteous instruction The most precious possession Most people have ignored So let your words not depart From my mind and my heart So I'll meditate, extrapolate On God's holy law Saturate me, Captivate me never withdraw Remain in me, abide in me And every day confide in me Push back the darkness And turn on the light in me Cast off all anxiety And worries of society I pray for thankfullness And peacefullness And humbling sobriety I want to reap all your blessings And avoid all your curses By simply obeying My discipleship verses Godly pleasures Eternal treasures Storing up riches in heavenly purses |

| Forget about this world With its messed up economy Just put your faith in Jesus And study Deuteronomy Let this book of the law Not depart from your mouth But proclaim the good news To the north and the south To the east and the west Keep on doing your best And pray that its blessed For when dos and tres Come to seek my face There am I with them In that holy place So let us spur one another Our sister and brother To love and good deeds The world desperately needs God's mercy and grace A love from above His holy embrace For we all like sheep have gone astray And each has turned to his own selfish way For all have sinned and fall short of His glory A major truth of the gospel story Atleast that's what the scriptures say For the wages of sin Is nothing but death But God's gift to men Is His life-giving breath Take for example The man named Lazarus Raised from the dead By Jesus of Nazareth I'm not ashamed of this gospel For it's the power of the Lord By His stripes we're healed And by His wounds restored The blind see, the deaf hear The prisoners freed from the spirit of fear The Son of Man is soon to appear When He'll wipe away every tear The kingdom of heaven is near! |
