The End of the Rainbow
Somewhere at the end of the rainbow
there's a pot of gold
And it's filled with a treasure corroding,
rotten, and growing mold

Somewhere at the end of the rainbow
There's a life of dreams
where you can fill and
indulge all your senses
with empty temporal things

They fill the heart with emptiness
when sought after in selfishness and greed

It blinds the eyes with vanity
and gives you Naaman's leprosy
That's how it decieves you

Somewhere at the end of the rainbow
there's fortune and fame
Which seems so wonderful yet
without wisdom it can cause much pain

Somewhere at the end of the rainbow
You can't deny
There's no end to the rainbow
It's just a deceptive lie

'Cause riches do not satisfy
On eagle's wings you'll watch them fly away
The more you make the more you spend
The more you spend the less you lend
To those who need it

Somewhere at the end of the rainbow
There's a pot of greed
where you can buy all those things that you want
while ignoring all those in need

Somewhere at the end of the rainbow
Where clouds go by
There's a moth-eaten treasure
that's rusted and stinks sky-high

There's no end to the rainbow
It's just a deceptive lie
