Doc, Mario, Bowser, Yoshi, Fox

All easy improvements, 3 of which are easy sub10s. Mario, use the 11.xx vid on CAL's site, Doc use the 14 sec strat, the other three, search this topic for their sub10 strats b/c i know i've posted yoshi and fox before.

Which puts me at 5:25.48 and out of last place. Yippee.

Any help on getting the 8th target with up a on yoshi's?

You can still cut 4 seconds off of Fox and Bowser and 2 seconds off of Yoshi. Dr. Mario 14 second strat isn't that bad. If you can get target 1 then you've got it easy.

DocMario- It's fun to see you improving real fast! Here are the chars I think would be the easiest improvements to get you sub 5

Doc- Practice... It's not easy to get it, but once you do it you'll wonder why you had all this trouble
Peach- Try to lower her a bit, you should be able to get in the 14 second range
Ganon- The 6.5 seconds strat is ridiculously easy, look on my website if you don't have it
Fox- Try to sub 10 him =P
Ness- 16-17 seconds?
IC- Get 15 seconds!
Kirby- Get 16 seconds!
Samus- Get 12 seconds!
Link- The sub 4 strat is easy but you need precise timing for the boomerangs... it's up to you
Pichu- Sub 10 him!

It may seem like a lot but.. meh!

I'm pretty sure I'll have 9.xx DK just as soon as I learn to L-Cancel also. It's just a matter of me taking the time to do it. Then again, I am back on top of the intermediate topic so I see no reason to do anything about that just yet...Except now that I've started again I probably won't be able to stop. Also, what do you guys think we should indicate next to our names for beginner topic? I'm thinking....15 sub 10s and all sub 17s? Too easy? Too tough? Just right? Let me know.

Er.....Well...... I guess those'd work. Currently, I don't qualify for either though. Ah well, I'm at 14 sub-10s, and if I pull Ness down below 17, well, everyone else is sub-16.

So yeah, those will do nicely. (Honestly, I think the next character I'll sub-10 may be Marth. Odd, eh?)

Metal Falco- Here's the strat (the one on my website a little modified):

1-2. Down+B as soon as you can (or neutral+A, turn around, neutral+A)
3. Dash left, double jump up+B going up and land on the grey platform above you
4. Single jump, up+A, double jump and land on the first blue step to your left
5. Double jump on the next step, double jump forward+A the next target, land on the tiny blue part, L-Cancel
6. Single jump right, still facing left, back+A the higher target
7. Fall a bit, double jump right (always facing left) and back+A the next target, land
8. Dash right, single jump back+A the target
9. Double jump under target 9, when you hit your head on the ceiling under the target, up+B (your head will hit the target through the ceiling)
10. Press right to travel right and hit the target that is moving up & down with your spinning Kong

Meh, haven't had much chance to improve lately >_<. Anyway, I plan to try some semi-difficult strats for all of the chars and improve my bad scores a lot, and also do one character at a time WR-style, if I can.

Just curious, but is there anyone else that can't get the videos on the last site Zell posted to play? Most of them refuse to play on either Real One Player or Windows Media Player for me <_<. Same thing with Senju's vids that people sometimes link to in the pro topic. Does anyone else have that problem? >_<

Sure joexc, here it is

1) run off the right, fastfall and air forward-a through the wall, l-cancel on the woods
2) triple jump (no up-b) a bit to the right, air dodge dodge down, triple jump air neutral-a, l-cancel
3) take one or two steps right, single jump air forard-a through the wall, l-cancel
4-5) run off the left, fastfall air neutral-a the two targets here (air back-a if you can)triple jump left and wavedash right on the floor.
6-7-8) double jump a bit right, air back-a moving left the two targets here, fall right and air neutral-a (land on the step if you can, i couldn't) l-cancel
9-10) double jump wavedash left (single jump might be enough if you landed on the step), run off the left and air neutral-a, fastfall
triple jump back and forward-b the last target

Goal: 14.3x?

sub 4:20 total with barely 5 hours playing this mode isn't so bad I guess.
