Marth1, I'll compete against you. I'm just getting back into things so you'll have the advantage for a while, but I have about 30 seconds better than you on total. Here's all I have for right now. It's nothing special, but I'll sub10 with him tomorrow if I have time to play.

Yes, that is an intermediate record, beating out the current record holder, MetalKirby at 10.99

Holy mother of life...you guys are Uber.....gosu and all that junk....jesus...the 2 characters i tried the hardest to get the best time were luigi and samus. and i got 9.78 with luigi and 15 exact with samus. Dont call me a newb lol. im just trying. But you guys rock.

Does anyone have easy strats for CaptainFalcon, Mario or Zelda that can help me out? My CF is 11.75, my Mario is 12.15 and my Zelda is 9.5x I have no clue what exactly I should do to take time off but I think these are the most appropriate. Maybe an 8.xx Falco strat would help me too. Thanks.

Fluff- For Mario, just use the sub 10 strat.. you can be slower, it doesn't really matter. If you are too slow for the double jump up+A from the moving platform, use jump, wall jump, double jump up+A. If you don't have this strat, ask I'll post it (you could download Senju's vid or the 9.33 vid)

Wow! It sure has been a while since I have been here talking with you guys. Most of you don't even remember me. Looks like I have some major catching up to do. My times are near the 4:40 mark. hmmm. Any General suggestions of characters to concentrate my time on?

Mainly I have been having some serious troubles with Fox, Falco, and Ness. I would really like to get sub 4. Would any one like to help me out. Like a tutor. :) I am kinda desperate. Been trying these for some time now. The only that I was able to change was Pikachu's.

Major:

Fox 12.85- did you watch the vids? sub 10 is not that hard once you know a strat (there are many sub 10 strats too)

Donkey Kong 14.26- you can get 11.xx if you hit the last target on it's way down (instead of on it's way up for sub 10)

Young Link 9.92- Try the 6 secs strat, there's a vid somewhere.

Kirby 16.82- sub 15 vid somewhere too!

Jigglypuff 12.23- get the 8.18 vid and try this strat. it's reaaaally easy to get sub 9 with it :)

Ness 18.36- get Corner's 14.99 vid, you'll sub 16 with it

Mewtwo 8.88- try the 6 secs strat. there's a vid somewhere too >_>

Peach 14.21- uh.. 12.xx is not so bad... get a vid

Bowser 11.92- sub 10 vid

sooo.. just get some vids from CAL's site or senju's site (don't remember his url though).. i have a couple of strats on my website too, maybe you can check it out

Does anyone out there know the url for Senju's vids...I would love to see some of these..if not all. I have been inspired to try to improve my times a lot more...I would love to Sub 4 minutes. My Kirby and Ness need some help..as does Fox and Falco...Any other tips anyone? The url at least? Thanks

New total. Finally broke out of that dirty 4:12.00 I just hate looking at those double zeros. It seems to me I'll get low 11s Mario soon (like as soon as I do it for more than 4 minutes straight). I seem to get bored with actually working on a character nowadays. I established that I could do all the targets in Mario's level for sub11 but in the process realized that I'm bad at wall jumping. I think it's because I use the stick to jump; a problem I must solve. I always have trouble doing the stupidest things in a level. Another example would be sub10 DK. I have trouble timing the L-cancel after the neutral A on 6 & 7. Something must be wrong with me. Seriously.

Fluff- the problem with DK shouldn't be the L-Cancel, but simply hitting 6 & 7... they are a pain >_> maybe if I'd actually hit them I'd have trouble timing my L-Cancel afterwards...stress...

Since we're all buddies on this topic, I'll tell you how to do Peach's in 12 secs if you tell me how you got that Jiggly score. =P

1) Backwards jump and back A the upper of the two target to your immediate left.
2) Fastfall down for a quick little while then rejump backwards again and back A the target in the ¯| looking thing.
3) Fall right after this hit and hold X once you get under the floor you started on. Keep X held so you'll float to the right (keep your stick pressed to the right so you go fast). Forward A the target at the end and then float backwards.
4) B up the target at the end of the floor you started on and right as you're hitting the floor when you land after hitting the target, press B down to pull a turnip.
5) Dash to the right and jump right in front of the target and press A in the air to throw it. Rejump and press the Z button so you will air catch the turnip. I find that it works more often when you are right above the turnip which happens right after you rejump if you're directly in front of target 5 when you toss it the first time.
6) B up the target above you. Hold your stick to the right so you'll fast fly to the right.
7) You will run into this target. Immediately afterwards fastfall.
8) Neutral A once you land.
9,10) Quickly turn around, then press down and X at the same time to begin a float without jumping. Get a little bit of leftwards momentum going with the stick, but make sure you release in enough time to neutral A from your float and hit both targets. If not, get the first one and then do another neutral A into the second one.

Goal: Technically the goal is sub 12 but that's a little unrealistic. You should be able to get 12.5x easily if you practice a bit. I find quickly turning and floating the hardest part. If I could do that every time I would have a sweet Peach score.

So how about your Jiggly strat? =D

Marth, with that Kirby you should be able to get just about any one of those times down. Start at the beginning I guess. Doc WR strat or even 14 second strat. The 14 second strat is ridiculously easy. I'm embarrassed to say it took me over 5 hours to get it my first time ever. But I can now honestly say that I nail the sub14 strat 1/3 times I do it which aint bad for such a long stage. Yoshi is a very easy sub 10. Do you know the sub10 strat? If so I can explain to you exactly how I got 9.60 and exactly how you could do it and better. Talk to me on AIM.

Jigglypuff

1 and 2) This usual biz. Everyone else uses the forward a thing in the air and back but I can't do it right to position myself for the next part so I used air down a.

3) backward jump left landing on the first lower burner thingy (sorry bad name) and get blasted to the left. do a very quick mid-air jump and right A...then drop and go between the second burner.

4) get flung up toward this one for free basically and just left A

5) come down and land, jump and down A or if the barrier is coming do a float, down A (that is what I usually do cuz I am slow as hell in the beginning...if I could get that first thing down I could get closer to 8.25ish) Land

6) Smash Jump (or dash jump) and down A...land as close to the edge of this area as you can and try to glance of the end and down to the last four targets

7, 8, 9, and 10) For target 7 just left A, the rest do a float right A...until done...

...repeat as necessary...Good Luck! I am trying a faster Peach star BTW which requires two turnips and grants a time of mid 10s but we shall se how it goes. Thanks for the Z button catch tip...never did quite figure that out.

I have four vids that show me and several text strats that show me but most of them involve a Triforce wall jump which I can almost never perform...Any help here?
