Hey Crono, I am thinking your Kirby time can kick mine in the shins. Your Ness is also probably better than mine.

hehehe well i used to hold the intermediate record for kirby with 16.40.....beating the next closest person by over 2 seconds....hahhahahhahah

and ness - 19.40 :p lol

well my total is only 4:50.77 so my times arent anything special just yet....most of my time has gone into DK...failed cause though...lol

DK tip - do the sub 10 strat but up+b 7 instead and float across....then finish the strat....that will get u under 11 seconds =)

I haven't had time to work on BtT at all recently. I'm getting mad. I've been spending all day at school. I have 4 college level tests to take (AP tests) and I'm Class President so I've been working on Prom all week. Too tired to even break a target or ten. =/

i tried the wavedashing roy strat for about 3 hours last night....it just would NOT work for me.....the 3 times i made it sub 7....i missed 8 with the forward A.. >_<!!

not to mention the Doc Wr strat.....i can up+b halfway through the last platform....i wonder where i'm losing time......maybe i shouldnt do neo marths fancy **** 0.o

So sad for those you can't find time to play anymore. I usually try and sneak an hour or two near lunch and dinner. If my roommate is out longer i try to get an extra hour in before bed but....yeah. I will probably try some more this weekend. Peace everyone. Happy Breaking!

Heres what I do for Doc, I think its the faster way to go about the first few targets.
1) B
2) up+B
3) double running jump forward+A or pill
4) back+A
5) pill
.) Platform dive, up+B to the other side of the platform, I find airdodge to be slow.
6-10) normal

mmmm yeh i do that exact same thing....although someone recommended the air dodge......i think its the 'slip off the edge after 8' bit that i dont do......i kinda land then run off....too slow??.....and do u need to fastfall after slipping off the edge/or after the up+a?? mm i'll try again tonight....

joexc:Do NOT do an up+A on 8 for sub-10. It will cost you too much pain and agony.
You can get 9.0x with a back+A(I THINK) on 8,9, then a rejump, up+B behind you on 10(the one wtih the up+A normally)

Wooooooot I am so happy with myself. I pulled of the sub 9 fox strat and almost got sub 8 with it. The strat I am talking about is the vid from Calfoolio's site except I dont wavedash. This is also my first improvement in like 2 months.

I actually got some decent playing time in, I've only been getting about 10-15 minutes twice a week lately. I knew it'd be a good day for improvements:

joexc - My Ness strat is basically the one in the 14.99 video I found somewhere, which is probably the strat a lot of people use... I've just practiced with it quite a bit a few months ago when I had 28 ness and wanted to lower it... Now I'm really good with the strat.

Hmm.. I'm going to try to improve Kirby and Samus this weekend by working on some harder strats for them and doing them quickly. I'm going to try the 11.90 strat for Samus... What's a good strat for Kirby that doesn't have up-B to grab the alclove? Something that maxes between 13 and 14 would be nice <_<

Kirby:

1. Run off the edge, fwd+A through the wall, land on the small ledge
X. Jump up 3 times into the alcove, air dodge down into the ground
2. Jump up 3 times and neutral A. Land on the middle platform.
3. Dash (small) jump right, forward A through the wall
4-5. Run left off the edge, fast fall and use one back+A for both targets. This needs to be performed as late as possible to hit both.
X. Rejump, back+A to cover more distance. Jump once more and grab onto the ledge
6-7. Jump up from the ledge, jump once more to the left a bit, and back+A while facing left and moving right. This takes practise ;)
8. Fast fall and back+A, landing on the small ledge.
9. Jump left, make your way to target 9 somehow (wavedashing is fastest). Run off the edge, and forward+A.
10. Fast fall, jump+backA, jump, hammer.

You can do this as slow or as fast as you like. It gets sub-15 very easily, and maxes out at 12.5 - 12.6 if you l-cancel everywhere.
