Elizabeth & Katie's Sim Dog Club
Freqently Asked Questions

How do you play the game? What is this club about?
----------Please refer to the What is "Simming" article.

I'm going bankrupt!
----------Oops, well, that's your fault. It's the automatic pentalty of not being responsible with your money. :) Now you must sell some of your equipment/dogs/land so you can afford to care for your (remaining) dogs. It is not an option to quit because you have gone bankrupt and immediately re-join. Your joining request will be ignored. Instead, the wisest thing to do if you go bankrupt is to sell off everything you have and start over.

I lost the addresses for the SDC mailing list...help?
----------Email any of the office members, and they will give it to you.

I'm changing email addresses, anything I should do?
----------Yes - PLEASE email Emily and let her know of the change, so the member records can be updated.

I found some awesome dog pictures, can I sell [sim-money] them to the other members for their use?
----------No, unless you took and scanned the pictures yourself.

How do I earn money?
----------Stand on your head in the Regular Discussion forum. :P But really, some kennels are willing to pay people for positions, such as grooming or handling. Or try hosting a fun show! You can also try starting up your own business, which practically guarantees lots of fun. Be creative and innovative when thinking up business ideas!

What are canine creations?
----------A canine creation is the one dog members are allowed to create from their own imagintation. It may be any breed, age, or gender. It may not, however, have any special points or statuses. New members, when they first join, are allowed to have five free canine creations. Again, these CC's may not have any special points or statuses.

What do I do after I've used up my Canine Creations and I want more dogs?
----------Well, there are basically 4 things you can do. :)
1) Have a litter!
2) Contact the club and see if anyone else is planning a litter or has dogs for sale.
3) Contact the SPCA and see if there are any dogs up for adoption.
Or... 4) If you still can't find what you want e-mail the Import/Export House and import a dog (this would be good if you wanted to introduce a new breed or bloodline into the club).

How much is overworking considered?
----------Good question, thanks for asking! Although the SDC does not have any SPCA rules on overworking dogs, we highly suggest that members space out to allowing their dog to perform on an average of once a week. You may get in trouble for extreme overworking, so we're basically asking you to just use common sense when entering your dogs in events.
