Rules of Communication The SDC is now (once again!) an e-mail based club. We no longer use a messageboard. Below are the rules of communication. Please follow them when e-mailing the club. As of August 17, 2002 EVERYONE whose e-mail address is no longer in order will be removed from the SDC mailing list. This includes addresses that won't receive e-mail and that continually cause "failure" notices to be sent to the sender. Notices would be things like... "delivery failure," "service unavailable," "delivery has failed," "mailbox full," and "user uknown." If members begin to receive these notices for a certain address, then the address will be put on a 2 wk surveyance period. If after 2 wks the address continues to cause notices being sent to members then that address will be removed from the SDC list. When writing an e-mail to the club please include a subject. (i.e., Doberman Litter Planned! or For Sale: Eng. Setter or Rivermist Kennel Club Show, etc.) When sending entry forms, checks, etc., please e-mail only the person who those items are for...not the whole club. The starting of "riots" is strictly forbidden!! You are NOT allowed to send e-mails containing information about a third person, or containing rude, impolite, criticism, etc., If you have a problem with something or someone in the club DO NOT send out an e-mail to the entire club stating your complaints, discontentment, etc. Any comments or concerns must be sent to one of the Co-Presidents. We also request that if you decide to leave the club, you contact one of the Co-Presidents as opposed to mailing the whole club with your decision. The co-prez can inform the SDC members, and have your addy removed from the list. Please try to keep your copy of the SDC mailing list updated. If you lose your copy of the SDC mailing list e-mail one of the office members for a current version. Please do not, under any circumstances, give a copy of the SDC mailing list to anyone not in the club!
