Natural Dangers
Tornado:
March is Tornado awareness month. Most agencies conduct a tornado drill during this time.
The manager should designate a safe location in the center of their building, preferably where staff and customers would be safe from breaking glass. An interior hallway or restroom might be a good choice.
During the tornado drill, the manager should assure that all staff participates, leaving their workstations and reporting to the designated location within the building. This would be the same procedure to follow in an actual tornado.
